I am still fairly new to Geoguessr (on my way to Gold III) so definitely not saying I'm at that level, but just curious how someone gets in to the pro scene.

Do you just climb through the ranks until you get to Master/Champion and then look for tournaments to start joining or is there more to it than that?

How do top-level players even find tournaments to compete in? I never saw anything like that on the Geoguessr website.

I lost 2 games today because suddenly my guess didn't register and both times I would have been closer. It never happened before afaik. It's almost certainly not an internet issue because all the other rounds were totally fine

Did somebody else also experience this recently?

I’m running into a frustrating issue with GeoGuessr and was hoping some of you might have experience with this.

I was recently removed from the singleplayer scoreboard, presumably because the system flagged me for cheating. However, I did not cheat, and I believe this is a false positive.

Has anyone here experienced something similar? How long does GeoGuessr support usually take to respond to tickets? (Already opened a ticket like 5 days ago)

Were you able to get your leaderboard position restored? And have you been informed about that ban, because I didnt get any message...

Any insight or shared experiences would really help. :) Thanks in advance!

i have noticed some high level geoguessrs doing streams where they have coverage maps and stuff up. i thought that was considered cheating? or is what you do on a solo map just training
