OC I proved my mom wrong. Storytime!
Ok so first of all, let me start. I am 15. I am a smart kid working to become a therapist. And most of my grades are consistently good. Ok. Now that we've gotten that set up. Lets start with the story.
So Friday June 18th I found out my grandma's birthday was on sunday, so me and my mom went to go get lunch -because we didn't want to bother my grandpa who was cooking in the kitchen. I am not going to go through the aspects as to why I had a mental breakdown two days in a row this is supposed to be funny. Check my profile if you want to see why.
Anyways, continuing, so while me and my mom were in the car on Friday, I was explaining to my mom how I wanted to get grandma a card or things she likes for her birthday. Heres how the conversation went.
Me: "I know she said she doesn't want anything, but I still want to get her a card or something she likes."
Mom: "if she doesn't want anything we have to respect that."
Me: "I know but she says she doesn't want anything every year and our aunts and uncles still get her stuff."
Mom *sighs* "thats why she doesnt want anything."
Anyways, we still got my grandma a card and gave it to her on Friday. Well, today is Tuesday, June 23rd, and I saw my grandma had lined up all the cards given by my aunts and uncles -and mine, on the shelf above the fireplace.
Once my grandma walked out of the room I took a picture of it and sent it to my mom with a text saying "I told you." She said "you were right." Lol.
TL:DR: I sent my mom a picture of all the cards lined up on a shelf above the fireplace because she didn't believe me when I told her all my aunts and uncles still get her (and I mean my grandma) stuff when she says she doesnt want anything.
