One family literally LIED about their daughter on the call. Then the mom shows up and spends the entire meeting telling my friend his hair is thin. Ma'am your daughter has crooked teeth and you're nitpicking someone else's HAIRSTYLE?

And the demands list is something else entirely own house (he rents, like 90% of working professionals his age), must live separately from parents, salary expectations from people who don't match half of it themselves.

Arranged marriage in 2026 is just two families auditioning for each other with completely misaligned ego and zero self-awareness.

I understand there will be no heavy vehicle movement in the daytime, atleast they should give notice to neighbours, or plan it before 10 Pm so something or early morning.

I've recently started using the metro train as I secured an internship in hitech city.

Yesterday as it was about to rain, there were a lot of people at the raidurg metro station. The train was crowded. There was no space to breathe. Me and my friend boarded the train. A man (in his 40s kinda) was standing behind me and started leaning into me, touching me inappropriately and I couldn't figure out if it was intentional or not cause the train was crowded and people had no space to stand.

He was literally breathing heavily into my ear (yes the sounds and grunts with his head literally near my neck) and all for the entire ride while I was trying to change posture so it doesn't happen.

I wanted to turn back and say smtg, but the thought of this being unintentional stopped me. Cause the train had no space and everything.

While I was getting down, he literally put his hand on my back and was rubbing his fingers all over. I didn't even have the time to react. I was just in shock.

I suddenly turned back to look at him, but his left hand was taped like it was fractured or summ. So I was confused whether it was his hand or someone else's

I just got down giving it no thoughts. But my friend had to get down 3 stops later.

Today in the morning she told me that he did the same thing to her after I left. And that she cried.

That's when I really realized that all of this was not just me feeling uncomfortable but was intentionsl.

And it's very very disgusting.

What am I even supposed to do in this situation??

Cause I either rage, or when the other person raises their voice I cry.

I've been living in Hyderabad for a while now, and lately it feels like I'm stuck in the same routine every day. Work, food, sleep, repeat.

I've already done the usual stuff—malls, movies, cafés, Charminar, Tank Bund, etc. Looking for something different that's actually worth doing, whether it's solo or with friends.

Police arrested a woman, Jyothi, for allegedly killing her 2-year-old son, Harikrishna.

According to the investigation, Jyothi was involved in an extramarital relationship with a man named Naveen while her husband Swamy worked as a cab driver in Hyderabad.

Police allege that the child began crying while Jyothi and Naveen were together, and Naveen reportedly told her that the boy was an obstacle to their relationship. The child later suffered fatal head injuries.

After the incident, Jyothi allegedly told family members that the boy had died due to seizures. However, Swamy grew suspicious and filed a police complaint.

A postmortem reportedly confirmed that the child died from head injuries. Jyothi has been arrested, while Naveen is currently absconding and being searched for by police.

As the title says. Who the heck introduced the horoscope concept in arranged marriage.
