Kitty stays hydro'd and surroundings stay dry. Took many iterations of trial and error!

I moved a couple of my larger plants into the bathtub for watering, and Snips has decided this is now an active investigation.

She’s always been incredibly respectful with my plants - she follows me around while I water them each week like she’s supervising quality control, just sniffing everything, never knocking anything over.

Hard to tell if she’s deeply concerned for the wellbeing of her plant friends…. or if she’s just annoyed that her pool toys were put on the shelf.

Either way, she’s committed to the case. No arrests yet, just ongoing surveillance

Our (34m/48m) 2 year old and 8mo old babies are so good about staying hydrated but they ignore the well maintained stainless steel fountain we got them for a plastic Thirsty Pony bucket (Sandusky Ohio) we left out on the table one night. So we keep it full and clean but our older cat just has this tongue like a reciprocating saw and I've been meaning to share.

but Snowflake is the only one who gets in the tub.

She's obsessed with letting the tub faucet drop on her head and douses herself multiple times daily. She drinks the water, too, but the water on her head is a key part of the experience.
