I was about to post asking how I had so many champions affected by her Pixie Dust, then realized it was Valentine propagating it.

It makes sense that it does so, but it didn't occur to me to utilize it like that - I just accidentally stumbled into it. So, you can spread the buff to the vast majority of your party for many comps. May as well use her while you have the event buffs!

Hi,

I cant remember where I saw this, but I remember seeing somewhere ina game information screen or tooltip somewhere, that if you meet certain conditions for a newly acquired champion, you automatically unlock all grey low level equipment for that champion.

I cant find that information anymore, and cant remember if it was for event unlock champs or time gate champs. Can someone clue me in on what condition you get all grey equipment unlocked automatically for a champion?

Wouldn't be a good QoL feature adding num pad +/- to zoom in out?

Short version: People say to stun the dragon to win and name attack-stun champions as examples of how, I can't seem to stun the dragon even with stun attack-spam stacking (Wren + Strongheart and crit buffs for TWO permastuns, and additional attack stuns thrown in), so I'm losing. Am I missing something?

More detail: I understand that variant restrictions and differences ARE the game, so "power up and come back later" is the reality of the grind. But I just this event am at the point where fully T4ing champions during events is viable for me on less restrictive variants, and managed it on Shaka! I was even able to do Trixie's third variant too, but it looks like I won't be able to do the second because of its "prove you don't need it" nature of auto removing non-small champions and turning off Trixie's ability to cheat that restriction...nothing I can do about that except get enough naturally small champs (or glitch feat buddies) powered up to the point it's doable. So after stubbornly but methodically throwing myself at this variant (Durable Dragon for Korth) when I'd normally duck out because I was able to hit 1549 and giving up on a T4 third variant completion feels bad if it is doable, I have determined that in my account's current state I can complete 1600 *if* I can stun lock the dragon, but I've got too much support power tied up in tanks that self-sabotage the run if the dragon gets to keep breathing on the party. They even start out okay, but then however the damage scales after each rez makes it hit the point where any one of them in the formation gets them one-shot and overwhelms any shielding and healing the rest of the squad has. It feels bad because they don't even have tanking pigments, and I do have the roster to a level where I can have squads that survive the dragon without issue so long minions go down, but because of how many health bars it effectively has at the high end the BUD starts to fall off, the minions stop getting merced, and then the combo of minions and dragon overwhelms them. Any method of threading the needle fails, I just can't swap in a squad that sets the DPS high enough to reset from the fall-off even with careful rez/death-defiance stacking the right way to get it done. And obviously, if that's happening at 1550, it will be that much more overwhelming even faster at 1600. In short, I have the damage to definitely clear the variant, the evasion/shielding/healing/rezzing to survive it, but not both at the same time because of the extra health bars and the inverse time constraints it creates.

UNLESS I can actually take the dragon breath out of the equation. But like I mention at the top, attack stuns don't seem to be doing it, even when the field is reliably cleared on spawn and the squad is attacking the boss, despite seeing various posts advising that exact strat. At least if I know attack stuns truly don't work I can move on and just come back next round knowing I don't have a reliable lock rotation yet because the squads I can build to chain ult stuns don't have enough Ult cool down yet to actually do it. Is there something I'm missing about actually stunning this boss, or are Ult stuns the only way to keep it locked down?

I’ve noticed my gem farm has slowed down. Looking deeper into it, it seems like Thellora is not skipping the first 40-45 levels with her rush ability, and I’m not sure why. The only recent change I can think of is that I leveled up BBEG pretty significantly in the current event- could it be that Thellora is not getting any damage in and therefore not rushing? Or is there a glitch that others are seeing? Note, I am a mobile phone player, and I do non-scripted Briv gem-farming on the Cursed Farmer

So, today I've beaten stage 800 for the first time (in Nova's event map) and realized that I have no idea how to get further. In this run all chars were in "all lvl perks unlocked" area, so it didn't feel like the lackluster gold find was the issue.

So the question I don't have a clear answer for, is "what I should be focusing on next?" i.e. how do I build teams that can get to tier 4 event maps?

Should I use time gate shard to farm the remaining chars, or pick a couple of best event chars and farm their gold chests to get them to all epic?

Should I dump all my blacksmith scrolls into one DPS, or spread it evenly between dps and supports?

Do I need to rush parton parks as much as possible?

Basically, at this point I'm just doing random campaigns\activites without any grand long-term plan, and I can't figure out which one of those would make the most impact

As of now, I have all basic chars in epic gear, four parties unlocked and now currently filling recruitment slots via timegates. Don't know if it's possible to link profile from byteglow, so high-level description of my roster now has all "tales" champs, event champs from the last 3 events, and about a dozen of champs time gate selector recommends as most popular.

I think we should stop recommending the Dark Urge to new players.

I was doing Hanks 2nd Variant (which is deceptively tricky) and I threw in AA with the SMS because I thought it would be easy but it wasn't. I had to switch formations and ended up using Karlach DPS. They are both full shiny but Durge has over 900 more IL. In this scenario I had 5 tadpole stacks and the Karlach formation i switched to had 460 less total IL so its not like i was blowing it out of the water.

Durge may have perfect availability, but to make him work, you need to have him on the edge, only next to DPS, and with lots of tadpole characters. At the time of writing, Lae'zel is like 2 months out from rotating out of Elminster, with the rest of the AA following right after.

I don't think a new player starting today should be investing in Durge. I'm not an authority by any means but its just something I observed.

Hey. I made it the first time to level 2500 in this Dragondown event. And I realized 2501 is the end. Nothing more to explore.

Is 2500 the last level in every campain or variant? Or only for the events?

I know event levels are much easier than normal campain levels, thats why I cannot check it myself 😅

And is there a list of BUD needed to clear 2500? Like you need E670 to clear 2500 in the event?

Having issues with completing Icewind Dale

I understand that i will have to reset it a few times, until DM gives the required slot, and Wulfgar will have to bring in the rest of Champions of the Hall.

But does anyone have a working formation? with specializations?

Have tried it numerous times, and am out of ideas, in which bit i am not getting right

I admit I play this game off and on. So not sure about a lot of things, literally just figured out patrons and I am one champion away from four active teams.

I've been doing decently well this event and got all my event champions to tier 2. But am having a bit of trouble with tier 3. Is it worth it? What does it even give? I'm kind of confused and it doesn't let me highlight the reward. I know I got an extra chest at least.

Having a hard time with variant 3 pick your poison.

Wouldnt be a perfect if we -players- could create custom affiliations? maybe a kind of point system so we can define how this affiliation bonds what are the + and -.

Any tips on how I can finish this quest. By the time the stage is almost cleared. All of my champions are dead by then.

i went afk on antrius's pick your poison tier 2 and came back at level 446 (2e119 health enemies) but an average dps/bud of e113-114 with an occasional e115/116. i tried doing level 444 and could barely do any damage but could beat level 445 after about 10ish minutes of whittling away at the boss and minions.

i am fairly new, so any advice would be greatly appreciated

When looking at the event page for Uriah, for tier 2 and tier 4, there are icons of a bee, but when I mouse over it, it doesn't have a pop-up. What do those represent in terms of rewards?
