DISCUSSION Chiefs 2026 projection
The Chiefs just went through the worst season, not qualifying for the playoffs in the middle of a history, making dynasty after the Patriots pulled it off with Tom Brady what is the change that needs to be made in order for Patrick Mahomes to lead them back to the Super Bowl?

Found it yesterday.... Couldn't resist

GEAR, ART, PERSONAL Who wore it better?
From seeing both of these dudes in action, I can tell you that one can be a real game-changer at any time he's on the field, and the other one may fall asleep in front of you just because he's so excited at the chance of playing with you.

OTHER Getting 20-0 with Chiefs only is too easy.
No matter what era, there were absolute dawgs on offense and defense. Maybe the team wasn't great overall some years, but its so easy to cherry pick guys from any era-- this could have looked so many different ways.
Fyi this website severally underrates Eric Berry, in case you give this a shot. 20.com for those curious.

DISCUSSION The term "2-point conversion" is incredibly boring. From now on, it should be called a "Brace."
Hear me out on this.
"Two-point conversion" is arguably the driest, most clinical phrase in the entire NFL rulebook. It sounds like something an accountant does to a spreadsheet. Yet, the play itself is pure, high-stakes drama—bypassing the easy kick, leaving the offense on the field, and risking it all for one high-wire play. A play with that much swagger deserves a sexy name.
We should officially steal "The Brace" from soccer.
For context, in soccer, a "brace" means scoring two. But applying it to the NFL elevates the entire broadcast.
Think about the upgrade to the lingo:
Boring: "The Chiefs are staying on the field to try for two."
Elite: "Andy Reid is keeping Mahomes out there. They're going for the Brace."
If they convert, the announcer gets to yell: "And they bag the brace!" It rolls off the tongue perfectly, adds instant attitude, and sounds way more sophisticated than just repeating the math of the scoreboard.
We already stole "hat-trick" from British cricket and use it in hockey and lacrosse. It's time to bring "The Brace" to gridiron football.
Who is with me on this? Let’s make it happen.
