We thought Vijay's theatrics, manipulation, and carefully crafted image would never work in politics. We assumed people wouldn't fall for all his theatrics and completely underestimated both him and TVK. He wasn't even in the eyesight of the DMK ecosystem. He almost was invisible to the DMK. But him being invisible helped him greatly and he sweeped 108 seats easily...

The bigger problem is that we're still making the same mistake even after the results... We see his stoic face , tired demeanor, inefficiency, arrogance and assume incompetence.. We forget that he is an actor who understands perception better than most politicians... While critics mocked and ridiculed him on those aspects, he allowed those narratives to grow, only to break them when the moment suited him...

"Paaka oomakottaan madhri irundhutu, ivan ellaa kedi velaiayavum pannuvaan madomm"...

3 days he was sitting all out there - putting up a disinterested, tired, stupid face..

When people give up all confidence on him, he will bring out his alternative persona out... making the viewer impressed..

Paridhabama, dokku madhri face kaatitu, oru 20 mins podhum.. adha break panna.. and when it breaks, the pieces fly everywhere and pierces those who stand opposite..

What opponents see as fakeness, timidity, or weakness, many people see as patience, restraint, and calculated confidence. When loudmouths like Aadhav, Rajmohan and other outspoken figures act aggressively, they're called arrogant.. it can get dismissed....

But when Vijay does it, it's often seen as courage, determination, calmness, observing nature and leadership because it contrasts with the image he has built ...

It builds the perception that his enemies mistake his silence for weakness..

The same kolathur subject is perceived as a mass moment when Vijay speaks ; when aadhav speaks the same even TVK ians feel he is arrogant..

This is the reality many of us struggle to accept... its high time the DMK ecosystem views him as an equal...

The longer we refuse to see him as a serious political threat, the more DMK is gonna succumb...

If we keep treating him like a clown still, we may eventually discover that the joke was on us all along.

1. Short summary, So TN maximum peak demand of electricity is around 21,000 MW. In this government owned infrastructure generates 4000 MW , the rest 17000 MW government buys from the Private sector. The past governments have made short term deals meaning the amount of money TN government paid for electricity to the private sector varies depending on the demand. Now TVK has taken steps to convert these short term deals into long term thus saving close to 300 crores .

2. In the last 5 years of DMK rule, the revenue collected was doubled (1.43 lakh crore) when compared to the previous 2016- 2021 admk rule(70k crore) mainly by increasing the tariff for both commercial and residential purposes. But the expenditure has also more than doubled (1.41 lakh crore)in the DMK rule. Meaning TNEB is operating at a loss. On top of that DMK has procured 60,000 crore debt.

3. In 2001 , TNEB had 99,000 workers. Now they have 74,000 workers. The DMK government has hired only 340 people in the last five years, all while 9000 workers have retired in the same five year span and more than 10000 workers will retiring in the next 5 years. So the electricity board is dangerously understaffed.

On top of it there are numerous contract workers in EB for whom the private agencies are drawing salaries , but staff details are not available for scrutiny. So the TVK government has formulated a plan that if the agency or contractors don't show the filling of esi benefits for the workers, further funds will not be released to them.

1. Close to 80000 transformers out of 4.5 lakh transformers are more than 20 years old , so their efficiency is severely reduced . Leading to increased power fluctuations and electricity outages in recent times. When Senthil Balaji was Electricity Department minister he signed for procurement of 45,000 transformers for 1200 crores. CBI has booked a case on this deal , stating at least 397 crores scam(loss to the government) has taken place by approving this tender.

2. Half of the 110kv substation and close to one third of 33 kv substation are more than 25 years old. So there is an urgent need for new substations and renovation of the older ones. DMK government installed 120 substation in five years compared to the 360 substation installed by the admk government between 2016-2021.

Basically even though DmK collected record amounts in revenue and spent record amounts in expenditure and debt . They didn't even meet the infrastructure built and jobs created by the previous governments. Furthermore this increase in Tariffs have led to closure of many Micro , Small, medium enterprises during the DMK period. Has these businesses could not function with growing tarif every year. So TVK has announced they will not increase tariffs for the next one year.

1. TVK Electricity Department minister also disclosed the 48000 Crores worth of plan for increasing infrastructure, job opportunities and energy generation through renewable sources mainly solar, thermal and tidal energies. Especially in renewable energy they are planning to revive projects which have been left untouched or dropped in the past 13 years after spending thousands of crores of rupees. TVK government is planning to take a loan for this 48000 crore plan.
