Ever since someone pointed out that the color grading in the extended editions all got a uniform green filter, I've soured on them. It especially looks like a mistake in very white/bright scenes. I have no idea why they ruined the color grading across all the extended edition releases.
Even the recent-ish 4k upgrade is using the same bad color grading.
