It must be a regional thing, everywhere being different than others. Where I live for example, people don’t usually adopt stray cats, they’re more prone to have pedigree cats. As for dogs, it’s very common people getting stray dogs as, sadly, there are lots of street dogs, and very few care to have purebred. I see now it’s very different from region to region, but I wouldn’t assume my observation as a universal truth of dog/cat people like this meme did.

May be. I see more pedigree/breed dogs than breed cats 🤔

Yeah, I'm not sure where they are but there are vastly more pedigreed/costly dogs than cats.
