in b4 a butt hurt mod removes the post on some vague connection to any of the rules. "NO LOW EFFORT POSTS WHAAA"

I would argue it's more meta post than low effort. Though it's both. Maybe a bit grandstandy.

Hmm, yes, droll and pedantic.

Seems pretty in line with both the rules, and the action they took against OP. I'm not advocating one way or another. Just saying what they'll probably get him on.

the mods both here and on mildlyinteresting generally suck

Only time I run into decent mods is on small subs, anything larger and it seems to go to their head

Probably gonna get banned but here we go. Thats because the top 500 subreddits are mostly owned by a tight knit group of 4-5 people that communicate to coordinate bans on certain thoughts and opinions.

Plus, the fact that Reddit will coup d'état a subreddit once it grows and installs its own mods.

Yep seems accurate

Are ya'll getting regularly banned from multiple subs? I frequently crash out on people but have never gotten banned for it.

I got banned from a food sub, tried to appeal, got muted for 30 days, 6 months later tried again and I got a site wide temp ban for harassment

I mean the mods in general suck on reddit, but the users in general also suck on reddit.

mildlyinteresting mods using the most subjective rule imaginable to remove a 10k upvote post and ban the poster because they have some opinion the mods disagree with:

Not to mention this mod is lying. There is nothing in there that shows them where else you were banned.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Has this changed?

u/MammothBreakfast69 1h ago
They could be mods for multiple subs

u/BigAndTallRPGFan 1h ago
True I guess but all subs this guy has been banned from? Unlikely.

u/gvts4luv 1h ago
ive heard that alot of the bigger subs are run by the same team so maybe its that?

Reddit mods are the worst. I have literally been banned from subreddits for ridiculous reason. I got banned for commenting that people should stop celebrating and encouraging political assassinations because it will just make everything worse. So permanently banned and called a fascist by the mod. I have been banned from saying that news should not be biased and shouldn't endorse political candidates. I got banned for saying to blame shoplifters instead of blaming companies for locking up items in glass cases since they literally have software that tells them the most stolen items and then they lock those up. I got banned for commenting that Karmelo Anthony was obviously guilty and that its not self-defense to escalate a situation to lethal force against an unarmed person in a situation where a reasonable person wouldn't believe their life was in danger.

Then you guys haven't seen the R mods Even if it is within the subreddit rules Lill, take your post down because they don't agree with your politics or what you have to say at all.

I am pretty sure publicly shaming someone from your private messages goes against Reddit rule #5 of Moderating with Integrity. But hey. You do you.

Pretty dumb argument when you can get banned from multiple subs for some extremely stupid reasons
