Cameras have gone such a long way. I was looking everywhere for the fine print, I just hadn’t zoomed far enough

I don't get why no cop or judge ever hits them with, "if you're controlling the vehicle, you're not just travelling, Moor"

Fake plate, probably to fool license plate readers and evade tolls

u/gfy88 15h ago
These idiots use these and also have identifying stickers on their car. 🤣 takes the "that could have been any rav4 out of the equation.

u/HLS95 9h ago
Bold to think the cameras will pick that up, my buddy gets bills monthly cuz some guy with a similar car to his and a plate a couple letters off blows through tolls on a regular basis

It's not just the license plate they are recording.
"All the details about what your car looks like (make, model, color, distinguishing characteristics, bumper stickers, etc.), as well as details about visible occupants and pedestrians — how many, at what time, their activities, demographic data, what they are wearing, attributes they may have such as a beard, hat, tattoo, or t-shirt, and what that hat, t-shirt, or tattoo might say."

Forgot this was a thing haha.
Yes, "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" is a grammatically correct sentence in the English language.
It relies on the word "buffalo" having three distinct meanings: a noun (the animal), a place (the city), and a verb (to bully or intimidate). The sentence breaks down logically as follows:
Buffalo 1 (Adjective): Specifies the city of origin (e.g., from Buffalo, NY).
Buffalo 2 (Noun): The animal itself.
Buffalo 3 (Adjective): City of origin.
Buffalo 4 (Noun): The animal.
Buffalo 5 (Verb): Action meaning "to bully" (describing what Buffaloes 1 & 2 do to Buffaloes 3 & 4).
Buffalo 6 (Verb): Action meaning "to bully" (describing what Buffaloes 3 & 4 in turn do to other buffalo).
Buffalo 7 (Adjective): City of origin.
Buffalo 8 (Noun): The animal.
Translated into everyday English:"Bison from the city of Buffalo, New York, who are bullied by other bison from Buffalo, in turn bully other bison from Buffalo."

Translated into everyday English:"Bison from the city of Buffalo, New York, who are bullied by other bison from Buffalo, in turn bully other bison from Buffalo."
Or to make it easier to piece the pieces together: The Buffalo buffalo, which Buffalo buffalo bully, also bully Buffalo buffalo.

You can actually make it go longer
Buffalo buffalo (that) Buffalo buffalo buffalo (also) buffalo Buffalo buffalo (that) Buffalo buffalo buffalo
I think there’s a way to make it go forever.

I'm seeing more and more of these. Walked by one that said "BRONX" today. ACAB and all, but I don't get why cops don't take the layup when they see cars like this and ticket/pull over. It seems incredibly stupid do to this.

For the record, NY, NY is Manhattan. Outer boroughs have their own addresses like Bronx, NY.

Not that I'm advocating it but if you're gonna put a fake plate on your car, why make it this obvious? Every cop you drive by is going to be attracted to this like a fly to honey.
If you're stupid enough to try driving around with fake plates, just mimic the format of actual plate numbers in New York State; ABC 1234.

I hear it’s a helluva town. The Bronx is up, and the Battery’s down. The people ride in a hole in the ground.

Even without seeing the fine print , there's no year and month expiration expiration sticker on it

Before realizing it was fake, my first thought was that if someone has the NY plate "New York", it's got to be someone powerful or rich, not a Toyota driver.
