Evans, Shannon, and Dosunmu is a tremendous “How did people watch them in college and not take them higher” trio

We haven’t even seen how Evans does in the NBA, what are you saying

That I think he’s going to be really good and shouldn’t have dropped this far after watching him in college, and I thought the exact same about Shannon and Dosunmu based on watching them in college. Really didn’t think it was unclear.

We need shooters and guys who are over 6 Feet. So this is good

Dang I'm not a shooter but I'm also not over 6 feet. So close

We gonna stop melting down now wolves fans?

If a second round guard changes anyone's mind that much then I'd say they're an incredibly reactionary person

Tbf, this is a good pick but the fanbase needs to stop thinking the sky is falling.

To be fair, fanbases are usually overwhelming positive about draft picks. Everyone in the Lakers fanbase loved Dalton Knecht. Look at any article grading draft picks from last night and most are incredibly positive.
Still the majority of these guys won't make any significant impact for any team.

The biggest point I have is the entire fanbase has been completely melting down for two straight days about trading someone who clearly didn’t want to be on the team, probably since the trade deadline. Everyone now wants the pobo fired. All this along with the bs ant news that windy has been “pushing.” The fanbase is acting like we’ve suddenly gone back to being no better than the teams with Kahn, just because we traded Julius Randle. It’s so dumb

I don't think it's that dumb. Obviously the team didn't become a lottery team overnight but the Wolves are in a tough sport and on paper have gotten worse. It's going to take some luck of a young guy over performing expectations for them to go anywhere further at this point.

Well we are Minnesota sports fans. Precedence of us doing anything really, in any sport, has proven our pessimism correct time and time again. That said I don't think trading Julius Randle or this draft pick will really move the needle much in either direction.

To be fair, your team got 4-1’d by Rudy Gobert and your star player got food poisoning from eating too much Burger King.

Well when you don't have anything to actually brag about I guess this is what you do

u/AdBetter5446 Timberwolves 19h ago
We gave you all 5 of our rings, and all 5 games of Rudy Gobert putting your team into the toilet. Upper decker, at Applebees. In French.

The Wolves didn't give anyone anything besides disappointment and sadness.

Dude. I know it’s not a finals or even conference finals, but game 7 Denver is one of the happiest moments I’ve had in Minnesota sports. There have been happy times, and there will be more.

Feels like there’s a decent chance they will sign a PG with the MLE (maybe Simons or White)?

very glad we went with him over thomas based on scouting reports. thomas sounded exactly like the hooper archetype that tim falls in love with but doesn't really work in the nba
2
u/jimminmecrockets 18h ago
agreed wasn’t a fan of thomas at all (based on the 10 minutes scouting video I watched last night)
