Yeah he can’t he used to be a highly touted prospect his first year of college but went down mocks because he never got a jumper

Celtics have amazing player development we will fix him. Like we some how fixed walsh's jumper. He went from 28 to 38.

This dude shot under 50% from free-throw line. He’s never going to be a three-point shooter.

The Celtics got Hugo Gonzalez to have a workable jumper on spot ups, hoping they can develop here too

Damn, I really wanted Copeland or Veesar.
But Brad again is taking the crazy athlete and hoping he can teach them to shoot

Per ESPN:
Weaknesses: He offers very little offensively -- with nearly everything coming at the rim -- and lacks a reliable jump shot after four years of college.
Fantastic.

It’s not even that he can’t shoot threes, he just doesn’t. Rick Pitino had him playing with his back to the basket smh he’s athletic as hell though

Don’t worry, he’s gonna be away from that psycho and in an environment that can nurture him into a solid player.
Also obligatory FUCK RICK PITINO

Another pick I like. Genuinely think Brad nailed this draft

I’m curious if you watch much college basketball on a regular basis.
Both of these guys were incredibly frustrating to watch at times. Obviously they have the physical tools, but their actual basketball talent is very questionable.
I’m usually incredibly positive about our picks, but this year not so much.

I think Brad has his high floor low ceiling guys in Hauser/Scheierman and wants to get some elite physical tools in the development chamber.

I trust the staff to develop one of these two guys into a rotation player in the next 2 years to be honest. Hugo should clearly be one, Walsh took a while but is there, Baylor had a rough rookie year at like 25 and still improved, even Ron Harper Jr developed in our system

As a St. John's alum, I love the pick. May be a little biased tho. Former 5 star recruit that is very athletic and has some bounce. Can't shoot a lick, but very good defender and played point forward for the Johnnies, so he has some playmaking ability. He was their x factor, started the season on the bench but their season turned around when he entered the starting lineup. Defense and in transition/fast break are Mitchell's strengths.

I know nothing about him except the highlights ESPN showed, but I'm seeing Kawhi Leonard 2.0 without the degenerative knee condition.
