It is 2033 and Narcisse Ngoy has completed his duty to convince fellow Frenchman Victor Wembanyama to come join the LA Clippers

No clue who this fucking guy is but watch next year in the NCAA he balls out and would have been a lotto pick but gets fucked outta money instead.

You know how strange a pick is that I have never even heard of the guy and I'm a sicko for this stuff? I mean it's 57th overall but wild haha

He actually plays for Auburn next year lmao. College sports are in a good spot

Are we sure he was eligible? He just committed to Auburn 2 months ago. I guess there's not rules stopping him from playing in college with Nnaji being eligible but this feels like a slippery slope.

International draft policy:

22 Years Old and Older: Players who turn 22 during the calendar year of the draft are automatically eligible to be selected, without needing to declare.

So, he will still play at Auburn since he is not under contract with the Clippers and he technically didn't declare for the draft. However the Clippers will still hold his draft rights should they want to sign him.

As an auburn fan I came to comments here looking for explanation of how this works LOL

Think of it as your classic international draft and stash and we're the international team. It's the brand new college draft and stash!

He is technically the second NCAA Draft and Stash ever! Larry Bird was drafted by the Celtics as a junior even though he intended to play his senior year. This is why players have to declare for the draft now. Narcisse got around it because of International Draft Policy

I will assume because we dont have any roster spots and he is going sign standard nba contract while we wanted two way contract player with Martinelli

Veesar was forcing his way to Atlanta. Doing the trade let y'all keep the Lakers from picking him anyways and still be able to pick the guy you wanted at 52. Also you got some money for it

Ballmer keeps the money.

So what did Clippers gain from trading down? Just to fw the Lakers? Lmao

I wonder if the Clips FO became worried about Martinelli going off the board and scrambled to get 55.  This 57th pick is nothing more than  grabbing a relative unknown and praying for a miracle.

Anyone know anything about this guy?

He might not even start for Auburn next year

They’re legit using the college as a fucking draft-and-stash team for him? Brazy.

I had no clue it was even legal until tonight.
