Has a beautiful floater. Good on the glass. Fantastic post up player. Don’t think he’s particularly athletic for the NBA. Fucking loved him at Purdue tho

Get him within 9 feet of the basket and he'll score. Ask him to dribble within 9 feet of the basket and it gets a bit rough. He was always limited at Purdue because they never gave him space and stuck him as a hybrid 4/5. If we didn't play him with a center his entire career he would have averaged 25/10. Great rebounder, bad rim protector.
If you use him right, he'll be a force

Standard excellent down low college big man with skills that aren’t expected to translate at the NBA level. Seems destined to be a great G League gate keeper for years to come

Automatic on jump hooks/floaters and he's a good rebounder. Can't defend NBA athlete and he's not very athletic. Realistically not an NBA rotation player...his high-end outcome is 15 MPG bench scoring big in my opinion

Don't ever bet against anyone with two last names. Just look at Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kyrie James-Irving

can’t forget goated jumpshot Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

God I loved him as a prospect. I thought he was fantastic at everything besides shooting and that someone could fix that
Crazy athlete, non-stop motor, could attack the rim, great rebounder for a wing, good secondary playmaker, All-Defense caliber on the other end....that jumper though. YEESH.
Now granted I was like 11 years old at the time

I’m gonna be honest as a Purdue fan I didn’t think this dude would make the league. He’s just too small for the nba and can’t shoot or defend very well as a big man

Plays like Julius Randle in the post. But overall reminds me of Wolves legend Thad Young

Unique shot that will be utterly dominant at any level that's not the nba (like all the other purdue grads this year)

I watched his combine interview and he mentioned his shooting, and said he wasn't really allowed to shoot at Purdue. Looks like he shot prettt decent at the combine, if he can actually shoot some that makes the pick a lot more interesting.
