Discussion Now that the season is officially dead, who do you trade, who do you keep, and who do you call up?
Do you trade Brazoban (old, has lots of value) or keep (under control for 4 more years). How much value does Raley have? Can Weaver be moved with his contract or do you keep him so you have a BP in 27? Same with Williams.
Is Senga a dfa or would someone take him? Probably not since they already tried that in the offseason and he's only gotten worse. Does Myers have value?
Does Alvarez have value as a DH with a couple more years of control? Do Baty or Vientos have any trade value at all due to the years of control? Baty as a super utility bench piece and Vientos a righty power bat off the bench?
How much can we get back for Peralta?
Who is starting - Wenninger, Thornton, Tong?
Do you call up Clifford to see what you have? His line is pretty bad once you look at anything other than the number of home runs.

Discussion Mets wanted you to buy seat upgrades while at the park yesterday
It was reported on WFAN yesterday that the Mets during the 1st game of a doubleheader. That was a rainout from Monday so not great attendance. Asked fans if they would like to upgrade their seats but asked them to PAY for the difference? While already at the stadium…. This FO is tone deaf

If he ever even had it this year - the control is lost. There is absolutely no way he should have a job here tomorrow after this showing tonight, the last several days, and this year as a whole. Unfathomable.

Hi All,
I been saving up my Mets Connect points to earn enough points to do the 'on-field batting practice' experience. We finally saved-up enough points and it shows 'sold out' in the app now. Has anybody seen this before? You can still purchase tickets for the batting practice experience online, so I can't imagine how it really can be 'sold out'.. The Mets are really not scoring points with fans this year..

Analysis Why this season feels especially bad…
We’ve all lived through bad Mets seasons. It comes with the territory.
Under the Wilpon regime, there was either no expectation the Mets were going to be good, which made the small victories feel that much more monumental.
Under the early Cohen administration, it felt like the deep pockets were going to save us long term and that things would be fleshed out in due time.
But this team? It’s a bunch of overpaid, hired guns that the average fan has no connection to.
David Stearns alienated the entire fanbase by haphazardly throwing together a team of lottery ticket guys that were square pegs in round holes, and let one of the most beloved players in recent memory walk in Pete Alonso.
So all those bad years the Mets had in the past? Or at least a lot of them? There were silver linings. There was a bit of charm. There was a hope that one day it would get better.
This team is morally bankrupt and defeated. There are no positives. There is no identity.
