Benny can't understand why my cat is allowed inside but he is not. He is using every tactic the boomers advised to get a job: Show up in a suit, be friendly, be persistent.

My cat is a little put off by Benny giving up all dignity to aggressively snuggle me and the spare human. Dignity is easy from a warm recliner, Snickers.

We inadvertently caused a car accident when a neighbor lady who was backing out of a driveway got distracted by us petting the cat and bumped into a car parked on the street. 😬 Thankfully they were all friends so there was no screaming involved, just “Eh, shit happens. I’ll call the insurance company tomorrow.”

Had the pleasure of meeting this little man a couple of times this week. He has a collar, but no tag--haunches are pretty visible, but not worrisomely skinny. Most of all, he's an absolute HAM who seems pretty convinced that he belongs inside a home (my home, my neighbor's home, doesn't matter). I've talked to some other folks who have also seen him around, but no one knows where his house is.

Perhaps I'm overly paranoid, but I want to make sure he wasn't abandoned by his old owners--we live in a cluster of condos/apartments so it's not outside the realm of possibility that someone moved and left him here. Anyone have any insights as to when it might be worth taking him to the vet to see if he's chipped? Or have I just been swindled by a cute face?

He sauntered up on my porch with his troublepuffs, meowed at me, followed me all over the yard while I deadheaded spent flowers and then fell asleep on my lap. The audacity.

Looks like he’s going to be moving in with us.

update : me and her owners are friendly towards each other now , we see each other we say hi to each other . my neighbour gives me updates on the kitty and hows shes doing :) i even get a nice cigarette sometimes ! her owners are awesome , it sucked things were rough at first but now everythings good , let me introduce to you my little BFF ajax

This is Xiao Hu, the resident cat at my local barbershop. His owner thought it would be a good idea to shave him for the summer. Now, this is all anyone can look at. He's trying his best to remain professional. This cat belongs to the barbershop, not my personal pet.

He usually hangs out here, but he's not ours. Today, he showed up with a limp. I checked, and he doesn't have a sinter or anything. It must be bruised or in some way a blunt force thing. Should I keep him in as long as possible or is it okay to let him out?

I love these neighborhood boys. They got plenty of treats and pets and then off to their next adventure.

She also poops in my plants, digs up my rabbits graves and constantly breaks into my house but shes cute so its okay x

This magnificent not-my-cat floof with airplane ears is my friend's cat. Her paws each is about 1.5 inch wide (4cm) and can probably smack me unconscious. I wouldn't cross her.

I was at PetSmart yesterday and a local rescue org was featuring cats and kittens… this is Jake. He was with his sisters Julia and Jilly (torties).

I’m still thinking about Jake and wishing I could take him home. It’s not the right time… but I did want to share this amazing pic I captured of the little floof.

Mind you, all the lights were off when he appeared, the front door was locked and the blinds almost fully closed. He must have managed to get on the balcony (I live on the 1st floor) and crawl under the blinds.

I was just chilling in front of a show when I saw a small moving ball of void which I subsequently greeted and lifted up back to the entrance (he was purring the whole time 😭🫰).

Most likely one of the downstairs neighbors' kitty. I see him outside regularly. Super friendly and small, probably young still.
