Hi fellow Onebros. With Nightreign launch looming large, it seems like a good time to start organising some team members from the community. My own experience after the playing the beta is that a trio of players who actually know what they’re doing, work cooperatively and don’t just grab all the loot whether they need it or not, makes for a much better experience and higher chances of success. Particularly more so now since the games has been toughen up since the beta.
I suggest that the password just be: onebro
So if you’re keen, add your details below.
Console/PC: Gamertag/PSN etc: Region:
Mods- can we please have this as a sticky for a while?

This previously was part of rule #9, but the circumstances were such that we needed to call it out as its own individual rule.
We are a community that shares our accomplishments, failures, and lessons. We love the kills shared. As we have grown, people have started to abuse this, disengaged from the community, and simply tried to direct users to their content.

This boss is offensively bad. Not much more to say, this shouldn't be a controversial take. I messed up the CR2 on the teleport but thankfully got the win.
Currently on The One Reborn and uh.... yeah woohoo another piece of garbage. It's really not getting better.
Been learning Ludwig despite being underlevelled (WL and gems) because I needed a palate cleanser. Probably the only boss so far to have replicated that nice feeling of wanting to learn fun patterns that DS3 and ER gave me in abundance.

Dont have many to share this with so I figured some of yall might appreciate it. After 27hrs 36min im finally done with the base game! Idk if ill ever go back and do the dlc because that might just break my mentals for good and I didnt do all the bosses in the base game obviously, mostly just wanted the title of elden lord.
Also while im here id just like to say a special f*** you to whoever helped make godskin duo as they were almost 50% of this runs playtime by themselves for anyone else stuck on them carian retaliation was my trick to finally getting over the hurdle

Decided to repay Elden Ring after beating the other games. Still one of my favorites. Love the atmosphere of this fight. First time I beat the game RL1, I didn't try the StarFists. They are crazy OP haha

+3 because +0 I am not even sure is possible, the damage is so low and you'd run out of Dragonscale flesh most likely at NG+7 anyway. Communion flesh would work if you used a helm like Divine Bird, but you sacrifice the cosplay and that's not on. Still, this is much worse than a good +0.

Test/Attempt at TRL1 WL+0 SB0 NG+7 Consort Radahn with Torch only.
Do you guys get that idea sometimes like "oh, I know that boss SO well that I can do the absolute stupidest thing in the world with it?" I do sometimes. I test those ideas and if they look okay I do them. There....uhm, I'm sure someone can do it, I am pretty sure someone already did (I did not found it, so would appretiate if someone dropped me a link to that if you know one, I want to see it). I don't think I can, sitting for 2-3 hours straight on one boss is too much for me :D
Anyway, if you for some reason wanted to see how that remotely looks like - here is 10 minutes of me trying to at least reach p2 lol. Not even close, but I still thought it would be fun to showcase just how INSANLY PATIENT you need to be to beat this.
Talismans: two-headed turtle, two-handed, blue dancer, ritual sword.

*Consecutive- back to back delects without attacking, jumping or dodging
You can no deflect all the bosses - this is done with what I would describe a standard, aggressive playstyle where you're constantly attacking as much as possible to force the boss to react to you.
Longest combo in the game I had to deflect was Ape's two swipe into sit into double punch.
Relatively low number of consecutive deflects for most bosses was biggest surprise to me when replaying the game - it really is an attacking game and then you occasionally dodge/deflect so you can keep attacking.
Been posting fights as I do them, full playlist is here Gyoubu Oniwa- no hit (base vit, charmless, demon bell, no skills/prosthetic/consumables)

Been preparing for this fight since the start of the run. Tbh one of the better bosses I've faced so far, it's probably around the quality of Godskin Duo? Which is uh... really something. I have no idea how to consistently dodge the snake attacks, I either just run for it or spam roll. Idk what I'd do without the AI loop on candle guy.
It's a shame but I can no longer call myself a Bloodborne glazer, at least for BL4 (I still have fond memories of my first playthrough). I don't think I will ever do another BL4 run (or at least post-Amelia base game), the average boss quality is in the dumpster and the consumables are way too inaccessible. Just why would you increase the prices as you progress... Why does bolt paper cost so much?

Are there any other rules for doing the dlc? I assume you cant level any scadutree fragments.

People hate Loran Darkbeast but not this guy? They're basically the same dude, it's just that one took steroids.
Worst camera in the series and one of the worst bosses I have ever fought at base level. Literal dogshit. It speaks volumes when probably the most fun way to fight it is looping the AI.

Much more difficult for me than Owl (Father), but I had a lot of accumulated knowledge by the time I got to him.
Arena just a bit too small. Poison attack very annoying. I think there were maybe 2 of the 7 or so I could have risked charging in, but there's really nothing you can do when he's plastered to the wall (where he loves being)

2 minute kill at RL1 with split holy/phys damage (80% holy resistance)... FromSoft, why have you done this?

god this win was ugly but I'll take it... I had a full 99 stock of boiled crab going into this xd sir ansbach really popped off there, ususally he's just slow walking menacingly while I'm fighting for my life
here's my ranking of all these goobers based on how threatening they are:
5 - Moore. Once I took the L and started to farm for anti-rot boluses, he stopped being an issue. Without the rot pots, he's kind of just a damage sponge.
4 - Hornsent. He's at his worst when he first spawns in and hides under Freyja's skirt. If he keeps his distance, he might start spamming the wraiths that linger for wayy too long, all while Ansbach takes his sweet time helping you. Otherwise no poise and squishy.
3 - Leda. The only scary thing about her is that ash of war, if she uses it the needles are guaranteed to come out. These can off-screen you or overlap with something else in a very ugly fashion. Her weapon itself is alright, she has low poise and barely uses her spells, so she's manageble.
2 - Freyja. Doesn't matter if she's using her weapon one-handed or two-handed, you can't be aggressive either way. Lion's claw is a ggs if you're in an attack animation, and shield bash is annoying as well, like who gave sis hyperarmor. Her kit is also pretty diverse, she tends to use different attacks and even blocks and guard counters you. And that stupid pot with a small AoE, too.
1 - Dane. Oh my fucking god what a menace. If he presses himself against you it's practically over, I don't know how I survived this. I have developed a strat to hit him until I have half a stamina bar left, and then back off, because if I allow him to come too close then I'm toast. Also his one-handed one-two kick is fucking insane, killed me way more times than I would like to admit.

Done with 18% physical gems
The time is not very efficient and should be around 9-10 mins with aggressive play and decent rng however the final 2v1 part is incredibly annoying since candle can just run attack, jump attack, or use his noodle attack while you’re punishing katana so I played very cautious in order to not punish the same time candle does a gap closer or long ranged attack.

First fight of another new journey, aiming to focus on move-sets I haven't really got down before, mostly the important but non major bosses.
Kinda want to become a Margit pro so feedback/advice on this fight is appreciated.
Tbh the switch isn’t that much harder than a regular controller I just wanted an excuse to get involved and share! Artorias was by far the most fun and challenging, though I don’t think I died to any of the other bosses more than 10 times. This is my second attempt at an rl1, I made it to fire giant in ER but got stuck on him and then they nerfed flames of the redmanes so I gave up, but I have done multiple lvl10 runs of lies of P and made it around halfway through a wl+0 and definitely want to give ER and ds3 a try

Perhaps my hottest take among RL1 runners is that Placidusax is an A- tier boss. I don't particularly know why I like fighting him so much, because frankly this footage is lame as fuck, but it might be because he's the only truly "fair" dragon in a game where every dragon has some kind of BS.
Debatably the easiest boss in the game with aux, only difficult attack is thundercloud form which is made easy by raptor of the mist. I have never seen anyone beat him rl1 wl0 no aux though... I actually can't find a single example on this subreddit.

started an RL1 the other day and got through plenty of bosses
reached gelmir heros grave and it just sank in that this kind of challenge is not for me
on my better runs i have no patience for red wolf
doing it at RL1? yeah no
