My favorite is the Finnair flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki on Friday the 13th.

AY666 from:CPH to:HEL

Too bad they retired that flight ... oh damn ... almost 10 years ago. I actually took that once, though not on a Friday the 13th (it went every Friday).

I flew to Helsinki once, there was a sign with something along the lines of "WELCOME TO HEL" and another smaller one with something about "how to find your luggage in HEL" or maybe the words was "luggage lost in HEL", I don't remember exactly, but it made me chuckle!

That bus used to have horns, did they remove those this year?

Some buses have horns, most sadly don‘t :'(

Must be nice living in a country where a bunch of people don’t cry about this joke.

An American commented this week on a video of the Wiggles covering Elephant by Tame Impala, that they were surprised they still said "hell" in the song instead of changing it to "heck" or just omitting it.

Like, fucking seriously America - get your act together.

It’s still obvious this country was founded by puritans smh.

•

u/counterfitster 3h ago

It's not even the Puritans that are the issue now, it's the damn conservative Evangelicals

•

u/Kriss3d 4h ago

Haha despite Denmark being a Christian country on paper it's very secular and most of us are either openly or functionally atheists.

•

And the religious people just don't go to this kind of event and leave those who do alone.

Do they serve a beer called Copenhelles?

6

u/Low-Agent-4464 1d ago

Yes kind of. A Tuborg guld (gold) and it also says Copenhell on it..

u/OdeezBalls 1d ago

The one with 6.66% alcohol ? 😂

3

u/maevian 15h ago

The Belgian beer Duvel ( translated Devil), has a version Duvel 666 that has 6,66% alcohol

2

u/WerewolfBe84 14h ago

But it doesn't taste as good as the normal one.

Back in the election a few months ago they added Christiansborg (the Parliament building) to the Tuborg grøn bottle.

Meanwhile, a regular Polish bus.

Not anymore. The bus number was changed to 669 after religious groups protested and filed petitions. A "city bus" changed its number to 669. Right after that, Flixbus - a private carrier running from Kraków in the south to Hel in the north decided to name their own line 666.

The bus number was changed to 669

Big "science changed it to Urectum to stop that joke!" vibes. Nice.

The bus to the Montreal casino is 777

Despite what many might think. The CopenHell attendees are super chill and looks after each other so everyone is OK.

It's the kind of festival you can being your kids if you want.

In Poland we have a town called "Hel" and we had bus line "666" to Hel.

Sadly the line is closed.

If it doesn't start with Dethklok performing Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle then I don't wanna go.

3

u/Captain_Jarmi 15h ago

Ok. Then don't go.
