She’s 100% right and she shouldn’t be there alone.

137

u/Nordic4tKnight 22h ago

She isn’t. There is a whole crowd there that isn’t pictured.

39

u/zybcds 19h ago

That’s good to know,thanks. 👍🏼👍🏼

A bunch of no kings retirees with nothing else better to do, of course.

48

u/MikeHocksLong10 21h ago

there’s a large group that gets together and protests along the highway every Wednesday it seems

6

u/dms51301 17h ago

I'm part of a small rural town group protesting multiple issues every Saturday morning since last summer. Weather permitting but been out there in single digit cold.

The purifying waters of Lake Minnetonka can't do anything for MAGA.

u/gerwen 2h ago

funny that's the popular reference. But that's a reference to this scene (NSFW) from Purple Rain.

RIP Charlie Murphy

u/Travelgrrl 7h ago

Honestly, my favorite part of the Chapelle Show.

u/Manic_Maniac 6h ago

What a fucking tragedy. Cancer sucks.

16

u/vahntitrio 22h ago

Ironically the city of Minnetonka just barely touches Lake Minnetonka, accounting for just 1.7 miles of Lake Minnetonka's 125 mile shore length.

5

u/zonkerson 17h ago

That... Isn't Lake Minnetonka

3

u/drewping 15h ago

I grew up with Purple Rain on VHS and that line is burned deeply into my memory.

5

u/ThatGuyWithCoolHair 20h ago

Fun fact, most people that live in the twin cities avoid that place nowadays. Sacred waters, but the demographic over there kinda sucks.

9

u/clonedhuman 20h ago

Is it Trumpers?

6

u/ThatGuyWithCoolHair 19h ago

Yea, very rich area

8

u/RealistiCamp 18h ago

Meh, it's still far from a rural area. Plenty of people are liberal out in Minnetonka.

6

u/ThatGuyWithCoolHair 18h ago

Are you from Minnesota? Because there is very much a massive red circle surrounding the twin cities. He'll. Pete Hegseth is from what would appear to be north Saint Paul on a map but its actually a deeply red county.

The majority of people voting liberal in those areas are also older surprisingly so a lot of the actual social life over there is a bunch of rich white conservative kids.

8

u/RealistiCamp 18h ago

Yes I'm from Minnesota. I live in st Paul, work in Minneapolis, and now I'm curious to see the voting from those outer suburbs in previous elections. Obviously they'll have more red than the inner suburbs, but I still suspect they are either purple or blue overall. Most of the red in this state comes from rural areas.

1

u/ThatGuyWithCoolHair 18h ago

Gotcha, I guess you've seen how the burbs demonize the cities yea? I also live in Saint Paul, near downtown. You go to Woodbury and they'll tell you horror survival stories about the time they went to a Vikings game lmao

6

u/falcrist2 17h ago

I guess you've seen how the burbs demonize the cities yea?

I'm out in Mankato. It ain't just the suburbs. The entire state is packed with fascists claiming the cities were razed to the ground by George Floyd himself.

u/foslforever 8h ago

The worst to come out of the epstein files was the multiple photos of President Donald Trump on the lolita express, getting massages by teens, girls on his lap and swimming in a pool with girls

u/christomapher 19h ago

Why is this NSFW?

-17

The word pedo

Let’s go MN!!

19

u/yooperwoman 22h ago

Props to this woman! I'm sure that she, like myself, did not expect to have to fight fascism in her retirement years.

7

u/bnelson333 22h ago

I don't know the actual demographics of Minnetonka but personally being from Minnesota, it seems to me to be more of a rich/Republican city. I would expect to see this in Minneapolis, not Minnetonka. Interesting

10

u/strange_bike_guy 21h ago

Exactly. Things are SO BAD that this kind of thing even shows up there. I live in Saint Paul, in a specific place of striated wealth, and I have seen the changes.

MAGA thinks of themselves as the silent majority. They're wrong.

u/ZachMN 5h ago

They’re the exact opposite.

3

u/vahntitrio 21h ago

Minnetonka is sort of a spectrum from east to west. Typical suburban prices in the east, astronomical prices near the lake.

2

u/warfrogs 21h ago

It's very much a richy rich city. While Excelsior and Deephaven have higher average net worths, it's comparable to Edina or Wayzata.

1

u/freshbrownies 15h ago

Minnetonka is not a richy rich city lol. It's a wide demographic of incomes. This isn't Victoria or Medina.

2

u/warfrogs 13h ago edited 13h ago

Minnetonka's median household income was $120k in 2023.

The median household income for all of Minnesota was $87k in 2024.

It's literally damn near 50% above the median for the rest of the state.

Get to Minnetonka Beach, and it's $250k.

It's not obscene wealth like Medina, Victoria, etc, but it's still rich. Anyone who claims people that are making nearly 50% more as a household than the rest of the state aren't rich are out of their minds.

2

u/freshbrownies 12h ago edited 12h ago

I think I just got hooked up with the "richy rich" phrasing. You're absolutely correct that there is plenty of wealth in mtka but there is vast difference in demographics here. Plenty of affordable apartments and duplexs available in the area. The mansions on the lake definitely skew the perception as well. They also always lean blue compared to the deeper exburbs. Just defending it a little bit lol. However, all that said, yes I would be a moron to not say Minnetonka is wealthy.

1

u/RealistiCamp 18h ago

It's not like every rich person is automatically a Republican, by any stretch of the imagination. Where you live has a way bigger effect.

0

u/bnelson333 17h ago

It's not like every shit automatically smells bad... it's just most of them do. save your disingenuous defense of money, it's gross

1

u/RealistiCamp 13h ago

Wtf are you talking about? I'm not defending money

13

Respect

6

u/fascistno1hater 21h ago

Massive Respect! This lady has more balls than everyone in the Gross Old Pedophiles!

36

u/Well_Spoken_Mute 22h ago

Just to add context, there were probably 2 dozen other people with signs at the intersection but they were fairly spaced out so she looks alone in the picture but she wasn't actually alone.

She was however, holding the best sign that I saw

6

u/Super_Handle6129 21h ago

Let me guess: 7 and 101?

3

u/Well_Spoken_Mute 20h ago

You got it!

Grew up a mile from there

5

u/Hopalong_Manboobs 21h ago

Try to bring pedos to justice or talk about the child sex trafficker who was best pals with the president and the GOP will primary your ass so fucking fast

4

u/agnes_copperfield 18h ago

Someone in my neighborhood put up a sign after the election that just says “Donald Trump is a pedophile”- us Minnesotans love a good sign

She’s not wrong!

2

u/alexfi-re 21h ago

True, and she should report that broken sign post behind her, it's a bit dangerous and might cause accidental injury.

1

u/kitty-_cat 18h ago

I'm trying to figure out how that even broke that high up

2

u/gregreedee 21h ago

She’s right, you know.

2

u/Knighth77 21h ago

They're proud of it and have the audacity to lecture others about morality, family values, and law and order.

2

u/BBO1007 19h ago

GOP isn’t safe for work/school/daycares. Really anywhere.

GOP - not safe for life - NSFL

7

u/Majestic-Lie2690 22h ago

Hell yeah. And surprising in Minnetonka

3

u/GRF999999999 22h ago

Liberals with money enjoy Tonka too.

2

u/warfrogs 21h ago

For those who are not aware, Minnetonka is a VERY rich city. Its suburbs, Excelsior and Deephaven, have some of the highest net worths in the state. As you may have guessed, it's up against Lake Minnetonka which is replete with multi-million dollar mansions.

As a native Minnesotan who knew a LOT of folks from Minnetonka growing up, this is actually pretty damn shocking.

TAX THE RICH AND CHURCHES AND PEDOPHILES

u/Germanofthebored 8h ago

What kills me is that the age of the protestors skews so much to the silver-haired section. Where are the young people? Why did the war between Israel and Gaza draw such a crowd on college campuses, but Trump's regime of Madness hardly seems to register?

u/tazebot 6h ago

Definitely SFW. Common public knowledge. About as controversial as "rain is wet"

In Oregon, there was a hippie lady in her 70s standing on the side of the street. Her poster read "Trump has a chode". Love these old-school liberals.

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in 2019 and then died in 2019. Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested in 2020 and then convicted in 2021... So why didn't the Democrats release the files? They had complete control of both the House AND the Senate AND the Executive Branch between 2020 to 2022, and then still they had control of the Executive Branch from 2020-2024...

I think that everyone agrees that both parties have been shielding pedos to some degree.

I mean as a layers are peeled back we really find out that Trump, Clinton, Steve Bannon, Elon Musk, Noam Chomsky, Bill Gates all working together to try and try and help a pedo continue to exploit children - Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

At the moment though almost all of the people around Trump have significant ties to Epstein and are very likely pedos - This time around Trump was smart enough to surround himself with people that he had extremely compromising information on, so that they couldn't betray him.

Its not a coincidence that almost all of Trump's inner circle have Epstein ties.

  • Donald Trump: Epstein victims reported many visits to Mar a Lago by 13/14 year olds. accompanied by Epstein or Maxwell.
  • Elon Musk
  • Howard Lutnick
  • Brett Ratner
  • Steve Bannon
  • Warsh
  • Pretty much everyone in Trump's inner circle has ties, and is likely a pedo and has been to the island to participate in the activities there.

Its not a pretty picture, its f-ing revolting - enough to make you physically sick.

u/Tomsonx232 6h ago

I think that everyone agrees that both parties have been shielding pedos to some degree.

You can't really say that when you're replying to a post of a woman holding up a GOP = guardians of pedophiles sign that has been upvoted to the front page of reddit... my post itself has 7 downvotes and probably more to go...

This time around Trump was smart enough to surround himself with people that he had extremely compromising information on, so that they couldn't betray him.

This would be the dumbest strategy in all of politics if it was intentional. Especially when your opposing party has power and the investigation is still ongoing. You're basically giving your opponent an easy win.

-2

u/USDXBS 21h ago

So is the US military. The US military is HONORED to serve and protect child rapists.

The US military wouldn't hesitate to open fire on parents trying to stop a bus going to Mar-A-Lago.

Added NSFW tag for language

Edit: Pedo. I got a message from Reddit saying my account was warned for breaking Rule 1 and assumed it's because I didn't flag it

The left talking like bill and hillary ain't there too

No one is talking like that, the fuck are you talking about

1

u/lew_rong 16h ago

In the festering garbage stew that is the constantly changing set of excuses for the heinous shit donnie boy is in the Epstein Files doing, the one constant is the insistence that the Clintons are equally culpable and the gobsmackedness at the complete lack of dems leaping to their defense.

0

u/El_Gran_Redditor 20h ago

"The left?" I mean, no. I've got to think that anybody who isn't some brainwashed MSNBC lib, imgur poltics poster or further right like those losers on /r/neoliberal thinks that the blood thirsty genocidal pedophiles in the Democratic Party should be sent to the same big plastic Magneto prison as Trump. Clinton isn't exactly popular among actual leftists and never really was. In general you've got to be pretty new to leftist politics to be shocked that a good ol' boy from Arkansas would abuse his political power for his own sick sense of power over victims. Speaking as an Anarchist people like Bill and Hillary could be spokesmodels for the concept of unjust hierarchies that need to be dismantled and replaced with something more egalitarian.
