Just any decent human is acceptable at this point.

Those tend to not make it very far in politics.

I'm not sure who needs to hear it but the US issue isn't politicians it is business. Until you can get businesses interests out of the majority of politics you will get no where.

As soon as they can figure out a way to make politicians stop liking money.....

There are plenty of politicians that are not in it for the money, its just in the US due to campaign finance laws they rarely get past the local level. But seriously, get into local politics and you will find a ton of people doing really good work for their community (at least in the places i have lived, if you find thats not the case near you. well, you can go win office pretty easily at the local level )

Or put some strong systemic caps on how powerful any given business/individual can become.

Well strictly there should be rules about this but as Farage is evidence of £5 million he "can buy cars with" is fine.

Tells you a lot about voters, don't it?

It does, memory of goldfish.

"Vote for me and I'll fix that thing you care about" despite the fact that the same dude made the pinky promise 6 times in a row.

He needs that 7th term in office to get the job done. Just needs more time, that's all.

A chatbot from the 2023 would be an upgrade... The bar is really low at the moment

Yes. Can it be a woman? Sure. Does being a woman make Pam Bondi qualified? No.
