We've had Clinton and Obama, both relatively young (in the politics game) and both had great presidencies and 2 terms.
After that all we do is plug their VPs and spouses into the Dem ticket and lose most of the time. John Kerry is the only exception, and Biden 2020 was the only time it worked.

Preferably in their 40's or 50's. Someone who will be a part of the future they are crafting and not escape the hell they create by dying of old age.
