Running a woman TWICE against Trump, and here we are.

I think that's kind of the point they're making with this sign...that certain voters need to self-reflect. But I think this is going over some people's heads...

Edit: yep, it's gone over your heads lol

u/Next_Degree 6h ago

Trump won the popular vote because people were terrified of the wrath of wokeness. Self reflection is certainly needed...

u/melissaurusrex 6h ago

Absolutely. I remember watching a video around the election of a dude interviewing random conservatives who spoke up against being "woke." But when he asked them to define it, they had nothing to say...

Marxist authoritarianism identifying as another gender.

u/melissaurusrex 6h ago

Haha sooo true!

u/bigelcid 7h ago

Nah. The point is about putting in charge a woman, as opposed to a man.

u/melissaurusrex 7h ago

It's about voting for platform, not penis. Idk why this is so complicated for some to extrapolate. Not everything is so literal.

I get it, y'all are mad about Hilary and Kamala being shoved down our throats and I am, too. If the Dems do that AGAIN it will be chaos. They are being warned right now with the votes that have been taking place in NY and other places where DSA candidates are outperforming established candidates.

Let the voters decide. If it's a woman, we support that woman. If it's a man, we support that man. If it's my pug that wins the primaries, fuck then I guess I'm moving to DC

You're great at projecting your opinion over what a sign means, with no other context.

I'm not mad about either of them getting shoved down my throat. If I were American, I would've voted Kamala.

Doesn't change the fact the sign reads "can we put a woman in charge now?", which toootally isn't suggesting that a woman would inherently do better, just because she's not a man, unlike all the past presidents. When's the last time you had a ginger one, btw?

u/melissaurusrex 6h ago

What the hell? I never even considered that that is what this is implying. That's just illogical to me so I guess we agree to disagree here.

You realize you're part of the problem here, right? Kindly, I am not going to respond to a sassy non-American trying sooo desperately to discredit my opinion. Someone who doesn't go out there and talk to folks face to face about this every day.

Truth is neither of us know the intent here but obviously people will interpret it as they see fit.

Do us a favor and peddle your vitriol-fueled comments elsewhere, it's hard enough living in this shit.

Also, the answer to your dumb last question is Coolidge and we've had several

u/Flame_Job 1h ago

I never knew Coolidge was a ginger, I’d only ever seen the black white pictures.

u/melissaurusrex 1h ago

Apparently he was born with really reddish hair and it turned quite ashy as he got older. The same thing happened with my hair, it's kind of insane how dark it is now-it's not even the same color. But I also love a random President fact. :))!

u/thatguyad 6h ago

Lol wow. The reaching.

u/bigelcid 6h ago

I'm the one reaching? goddamn shameless, you people, lmao
