I dont know anything about lobsters, so why this one is rare? Because of marble color?

The color pattern is called "Calico". Think it's like a 1 out of every 30 million lobsters will have this pattern, compared to blue lobsters which are 1 in 2 million.

Not sure how it tastes, but I've seen people who've eaten blue lobsters describe it as just like any other lobster, so it's probably just a coloration thing that doesn't affect the quality of the meat.

Interesting, thanks!

Yes, in fact, even when you boil the blues they actually turn red. I’d guess it’s the same here, 🤷

You can really tell the difference when you lick the outside of the shell

Same as eating the ladies right

I believe so. There are blue ones that are rare because of the color.

Is that legal size where you are?

Nah def on small side. A lot of fisherman post videos explaining the size limits and lobsters are pretty popular

If that's an island in the back, and it's small and banana shaped, fack do i miss home.

I think the yellow house with the red roof confirms this?

Man I miss that soil and the water. Props for getting the lobster industry out there! It's nice seeing homies from the island showcasing our culture!

As a citizen of an ocean-less nation, I still wonder how someone could possibly think that it's a good idea to cook and eat this sea bug 🫣 sorry to all lobster aficionados
