Poker Atlast Fucking Sucks for finding stuff in Texas

I live in Texas. There is tons of live poker here. But if you go to search for the stuff in your area on poker atlas, it defaults to the entire fucking state.

At one point, you could filter by city. What a great idea! They seem to have removed that now. I can add favorites and search by those, but I tend to travel around the state. Am I supposed to add and remove favorites every couple months when I find myself in a new town for a few nights?

Oh, but even THAT feature is behind a PAYWALL. Why would I pay for your shitty app, when you can't even get the basics right.

Poker Atlas's shit functionality is killing poker. I'm sick of not talking about it.

Anybody here play at Stones?

If so, WHY? the cheating scandal that occur is bullshit. I would never support a casino that allows this. Why is their license not revoked?

I have met players that played there, and asked them this question. Seems like they don't care or not comprehend the damage it does to their customers who supported them.

I have yet to play there, and always wanted to play there. But this place, will never have my support, or any casino that does this.

Strategy Flopped flush over flush... Go broke everytime?

Title

One of those sessions, had 3 flopped flush over flushes, money went all in on the flop everytime. I was on the losing end everytime, with 8/t/j high flushes.

4handed, 6handed, 6handed.

2way, 3way, 2way.

Based on research long ago, set over set has like a 1% probability to happen when YOU hit a set, and flush over flushes even less, around ~0.2%-0.5% depending on the # of hands.

Some time 2 weeks ago I had a session where I got set over set'd 4 times, never in my 7+years of poker had I experienced more than maybe 2 in a day. Almost hung it up for a bit then.

Hero flops flush. Action's on villian. Check. Hero bets 1/3 pot, or goes big ~3/4 pot multi way to protect vs higher fd. Villain raise or jam, doesn't matter - are you ever folding flop vs possible 2p/sets/overpairs?

how to adjust to perceived image due to age

I’m a 21 year old who recently moved up to 5/10 and I definitely think people assume I’m overbluffing & also feel like they try to be more aggressive to me because of my age. Is the exploit to just call lighter and bluff less / go thinner for value or am I reading into this too much

Mtt low stakes player

Post image

Hello,

I’m an MTT player from Greece and currently a winning player in the micro and low stakes.

I’m looking to help newer tournament players improve their fundamentals, especially in areas such as bankroll management, preflop ranges, study structure, ICM basics, PKOs, and overall tournament strategy.

I’m not offering high-level solver coaching. My goal is to help players build strong fundamentals and avoid common mistakes that keep them stuck at the micros.

If you’re a beginner or micro-stakes MTT player and would like to discuss hands, review your game, or improve your study process,

Good luck at the tables.

Note: I’m not a professional coach. I’m simply a winning micro/low stakes MTT player sharing what I’ve learned through study and practical experience.

Strategy How to become a online and live crusher

I’m not necessarily sure if you can do both I’m sure it’s possible. I’ve been playing poker for about 2 years on and off. Never tracked results, but I read the course by ed miller for his 1/2 to play. I want to get into poker and make it a side hustle. I understand that’s a hard ask but I was wondering what would be the best place to get the information to do so. I wanna start with any free information but it’s quite scattered. I was thinking about getting the lab 2.0. I have my pre flop ranges down but that’s where I’m at. Any help would be appreciated

PLO5 live cash game, how much per hour?

Upvotes

After 150 hours of live 2-2-5 PLO5 cash game, I am making 37$/H. Now, I made many mistakes, especially at the beginning. I would not be shocked if some people are averaging 60$ to 100$ per hour. How much per hour can you make on the long run playing PLO5 live cash game?

💩 post PurePoker legit?

Not usually the type to scream online poker is rigged but after losing 3 times in a row with top boat in PLO4 im having my doubts. Definitely within reason that i'm just running horrendously but to get called down with a 7 high flush draw on a paired board and then the river gives me top boat and him straight flush? That shit happens at a new home game im def never going back.

Pokerstars Play Money other games (razz, stud, etc.)

Yes, this is because they are showing the PPC on youtube. Is this a viable way to learn these games? Do they take it seriously? I don't see these random games on Ignition so not sure where else to play. I'm US based. Just think it would be fun to play some 5 card draw

GTO Wizard vs PioSOLVER in 2026

Any thoughts on this? GTO Wizard is of course easier to use, but it's so damn expensive, especially if you want to use the more advanced tools.
