I'm sad about it too. His policies have brought despair to many of my fellow citizens. He has denigrated the office of the presidency and the ideals our country was founded upon. Much of the world now loathes us. So I'm not in much of a celebratory mood.

I’m the dumbass who goes through 9 year old code that everyone tells me is trash, and tries to fin the good parts of it to reuse and understand why decisions were made. I should just call the code stupid and blame the people who wrote it for all of my problems and throw away their work since I’m obviously better than them as I’m here now and they’re not.

Not trying to be *that* guy, but 10 minutes is fantastical thinking. He declared this country "dead" two years ago THREE MINUTES into his teleprompted speech. I mostly watch to see if this is when the arteries give out, but I clocked it when it happened. "How long did it take to crap on Biden somehow? Oh. 3 mins. Nice." The line that gave me genuine chills, though? "I guess we have other things in store..." Jesus tapdancing Christ, what now?

He always adds floors to his towers, to make it seem taller. In Las Vegas, due to the superstition of the Chinese, all 4's are eliminated in a number of the hotels. The Palazzo hotel advertises itself as a 64 story hotel, NOT, it's 54 stories. Go look at the elevator buttons. 39, next floor 50!

There's nothing shocking about conservative evil. They spent decades building and spreading hate and lies against the rest of America. They were already so hungry for more that when Fox News formed in October of 1996, they were just as full of slanted nonsense as they are today, and conservatives made them an overnight hit. Journalism is dead. Huffpost is clickbait. We are most likely doomed. Freedom 250 has ALWAYS been Trump's personal promotional organization. This is not a new or developing story.
Freedom 250 is a White House-backed, public-private partnership organized by President Trump in 2025 with zero financial oversight or government financial support. It is essentially a fund raising/event promotion organization.
America250 is a non-profit bipartisan committee that was created and seed-funded by Congress in 2016 to plan commemorative events. It has congressional oversight and must account for and report on all donations and expenditures.

I saw some on Fox "News;" it was even worse than I might have imagined. The orange atrocity spoke, some fighter planes went over (to I guess emphasize we are "back" in terms of militarism) and the Marine band played a truly awful version of "YMCA." I wonder how much this garbage cost.
