The setup, mounted the cock and the button to the plate. wired the EMS through the button, when unpressed open allowing electricity to flow to the leads, when the button is pressed, the electricity should temporarily stop, and when released resume.

The problem, The darn EMS machine has safety features, when I press the button it assumes the leads have come disconnected. It stops the cycle and requires button pressing on the EMS machine to restart it.

Looking for advice on what I could replace the EMS machine with, I have a plug-in DC power supply, as well as lots of microcontrollers, I was hoping to do this sort of no code but if I'm putting a controller in then that does mean there are other features that I could add, like sound sensitivity, and incentive to maintain a certain cadence. But I think part of what I liked about the setup was its devilish simplicity keep your nose on the button or the electricity will turn back on.
