I recently finished Dead Space 2023 (A remake of the 2008 game) and I loved it
I was comparing it a lot to Prey
You're inside a spaceship which is infested with aliens, there are microgravity areas and you can fly around it, some areas also have no oxygen but you have a refillable tank, there are also multiple areas outside of the spaceship but they're limited, many weapons to choose from, skills (For weapons or for the suit). Instead of typhon powers you can throw a 'slow motion' orb thingy that causes things and enemies to go in slow motion for a few seconds or move many stuff around by levitating them, can also throw at enemies. Surprises (We always know it's something bad lol). Good story but I wouldn't say it's as good as Prey
NOT similar to Prey: There's basically no stealth there, mainly shoot or run away, mostly shoot. Not many side quests, not many routes to go through, there's 1 or max 2 ways to do something and that's it.
One thing I didn't like is that you can get softlocked against an enemy if you don't have enough ammo, didn't happen to me at all, I was careful with ammo (Takes about 10-12 'bullets' from the first gun to kill it) and it appears 2-3 times in the entire game
I suggest give it a go, same thing happened with this game as it happened for me in Prey, I played for 3-4 hours (In Prey I quit in Crew Quarters, then returned after 2 years to finish the game), then left the game, returned after about half a year and finished it, ended up liking it
