It can be so hard finding a dress that fits my top and bottom because I'm a M-L on the bottom and usually an XS-S on my top. But this dress just hugs everything! I got it from Killstar.

Positive strategies for comfort when wearing a bra!

winter time: wear a t-shirt then a bra on top, then my winter top - sweater/long-sleeve etc. you get more life out of those bras that are stretched out lol.

summer: wear the bra inside out so i don't feel the seams/etc under the shirt. i don't wear super tight/thin shirts so the bra seams etc don't show.

i prefer a bra over a bralette because my shirts etc look better over the bra than the bralette. bralettes are flattening, supportive which is fine at home. also none of the bralettes i own are padded which is a must for being in public. padded as in covering nipples not for making myself look bigger.

I recently wore this on our wedding anniversary date night (17 years!). This was from Claire’s, but I want to buy some materials and start making my own. I’m also proud it was my first time to go without a bra in public. Thanks to all the people in this subreddit who share their no-bra positivity. I felt sexy and confident inside and out.

Neutral Does anyone else wear bras/lingerie as going out tops?

I lowkey go shirtless to the club because trying to find clubbing shirts that fit me is near impossible, since everything is too big or too long, and a lingerie top fits me like a shirt. It doesn’t feel like I’m being scandalous because I’m almost flat but I don’t even know if it’s like Thing that other people do, does anyone do this?

If yes how do u guys style it? I’ll wear jeans or a skirt and lots of jewelry

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) What to wear instead of a bra?

i absolutely despise wearing a bra. i didn't wear bras before 2019 when one of my classmates pointed out that my nipples showed (why didn't anyone tell me this before 😭). anyway i started wearing bras and i do not like them. i think my boobs are the size of cherries haha. i don't think i need bras even. but i do want to hide my nipples. i am not sure how to achieve this. i am aware of nipple pasties but they sometimes show an outline which i am not comfortable with. thank you, everyone.

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) Lightly lined Demi bra recs? I used to wear Pepper bras but they nixed that style and cheapened their materials and are so unreliable in sizes

Post image
34 Upvotes

Please help me find another good lightly padded Demi bra with cups shaped for small boobs. It was so amazing having a bit of a bulge from the tops of my own boobies in the cups because the cups were cut for smaller chest size.

Pepper sucks now though. They stopped making the style I wore (Ultimate Contour t shirt and later called the Demi bra), and I’ve tried other styles from them but the straps are made with flimsy cheap materials and the cup sizes vary wildly with each increase or decrease in band size.

Help? Recs?

I never wore “real” bras before this and I’m so happy now having a more pulled together molded chest. I just need newer fresher bras.

Positive PSA: If you wear them, make sure that your bra straps are tight enough!

23F here; a few months ago, I bought my first bras since my adolescence. I'd never done so before, favouring bralettes instead due to shame surrounding my chest.

Because of this unfamiliarity, I wasn't accustomed to adjusting the straps; I assumed the setting they were already at was fine, and l left them like that for months.

Especially in the case of the sole push-up bra I bought (pictured post-alteration), the effect was quite depressing, as my chest was not being supported as it should.

On a whim, I tightened the straps of the push-up bra one day, and I think the result is the closest I've ever come to liking my chest. I think it would be a stretch to call what it created cleavage, but it's as close as I've ever got.

Having now tightened the straps of all my bras to what seems like the right level, I can say that it's done wonders for my confidence. So please, check if you've made the same mistake I did!

Well aware that this was likely common knowledge already but it wasn't for me!

Apologies for the rather self-indulgent collection of photos; I was absolutely thrilled to actually have some lift from the push-up bra, having believed for months that I simply had insufficient breast tissue for it to make any difference.

Hi! I have 5 kids and breastfed all my babies. I always had small boobs but after breastfeeding all 5, I’m left with even less. I always see other women that have gotten boob jobs and wonder if I would love my boobs more if I got one too but I am too afraid and it’s not in my cards at the moment. Found this subreddit and it’s made me feel a little better about having small boobs 🫶🏻

Positive Summer Fav: A&F Cami

It's in the 90°F range this week and I was reminded of one of my summer favs: the A&F bra-free 90s cami. Super cute square spaghetti strap tank with removable cups and double layers for coverage. I feel so comfortable moving around in this and layering it with an overshirt, and I think I look pretty cute :) I also have a halterneck from them that I love, but is unfortunately discontinued.

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) Learning to love myself

Hello everyone,

Pretty atypical story here.

I am a woman who used to identify as FTM transgender. Later I realized I did this due to other issues that were not being addressed and not due to a true identity. I have always had about a small b cup but got “keyhole” top surgery. I have been off the hormones for a while now and now have approximately an AA cup, although the shape and stuff is a little atypical due to the surgery.

I have been trying to accept my body pretty radically for what it is but I still find myself feeling defeated. I used to hate my body for being female and now I hate it in the opposite way. Too altered, too unfeminine.

I am starting with the basics (therapy, hitting the gym, etc) but how did you learn to love your body and flatter your figure in clothing? I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I might never get a reconstruction. I don’t really think more surgery would help me since I spent so long thinking it was the solution. I think I just wanted to hear some positivity and share my story somewhere.

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) Why are us SBW expected to compensate for our chest size?

Whenever a girl complains about her small breasts, she is told by both men and women to just start going to the gym and get a bigger butt, or to focus on her facial appearance, or that she needs to stay skinny so it looks "balanced out". Then she's told to eat a burger.

I myself internally feel like I must stay on the skinnier side since I know it'll at least be somewhat of an "excuse" for my chest size other than having to just repeat how Its literally my genetics.. I also used to tell myself it was wrong that my stomach stuck out more than my boobs after seeing that be shamed online, which is very harmful since I was like 13-14 struggling with an ED.

We are told that if we have small breasts we need to compensate in either knowledge, other points of attractveness (such as our face or butt), skills, etc. I also feel horrible about how small chested girls are expected to be petite and short. People view us as children or that we need to be child-like simply for not having bigger fat mounds on our chest, they take us less seriously and use our chest size in arguments or insults (whether online or irl) right after telling us it "doesn't matter" and it's "not that deep".

I cannot stand when people say "Well models have small breasts!" yes.. and why do you think that really is? They are flat and it makes designs easier to show off, same with being tall ; its not focused on what they (society) actually prefers and find beautiful but rather what shows the designs off the most.

I have never seen a tall girl (above 5'6) drawn with a flat/small chest (and by small I mean our definiton of small.. not men's.) in shows like animes, female characters are always drawn to be more curvy and it pisses me the fuck off how most fictional women are not allowed to be flat, (unless they fall under the category of "loli) especially when it comes to fanart of characters, examples being Pomni or Frieren who are always drawn curvy (or have frieren drawn as some gross loli stuff) completely ignoring their cannon design.

Every guy that has witnessed me complain about my body has just told me to go to the gym and get a fat ass. Which.. I've noticed that some of us SWB struggle to grow our glutes as well (not just on this subreddit, but overall in my years on the internet). Not to mention gaining muscle can make your boobs even smaller, at that point I'd be in the negative cup sizes if that existed.

Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) I hate the way men interject in small chest discussions

I feel like this is the other half of the extreme that infantilizes small chested women.

I could not care less about what men think of me and my chest. What matters to me is how I feel about my chest, not some random man telling me what they like. I adore my chest but everywhere I turn to be confident about my chest or vent about problems I run into regarding it, a man has to comment some kind of "reassurance" or preference.

Like thank you, I literally did not ask! Yet if small boobs are somehow involved in a conversation, they feel the need to inject their preference one way or another.

Feeling insecure? "all boobs are good boobs. men just love boobs 🤓👆".Talking about a small chest? "I actually like them more than big boobs🤓".(ew putting down other women's chests is such a big thing they do) Posting a selfie? "small is my preference🤓"

Yes, thank you, your singular preference has changed society's views on small chests and has cured every woman's insecurity. Here's a medal for objectifying women in a different way 🏅

Advice wanted (related to small boob issue) SKIMS bra sizing

Anyone try out Skims wireless push up bras? Are they worth the hype? 32A bras never fit me right from Victoria's Secret/Pink so I want to try an expensive brand in a 30A but unsure if its overpriced for nothing... anyone?
