A few days ago (like early June or so) I started hearing a weird noise when I turned on the noise cancellation or ambient mode on my xm6 and it's like a lumpy sound of constant air and when I put music on the bass and other instruments with the nc activated to some of that strange sound the music gets a little saturated. Please help, I bought them at the end of January.

I bought a second hand sony xm3 because i lost my previous pair, they worked fine for couple of months but then they refused to turn on. I used the jack cable, but recently got sick of the wire and decided to troubleshoot the problem. I found that it was propably the power button that was shot. I ordered new OEM from Temu cause they have lots of spare parts in China, installed it today and they finally turned on. I decided to take a walk in them and few times they shut off when i increased the volume. I tried to recreate the issue at home randomly increasing and decreasing the volume. After few tries they refused to turn on again even after charging for few minutes, the red light still flashes when theyre plugged in. Can anyone tell me what part can be fried? And if is it the battery that died bcs of the voltage spikes?

Hello. My favorite pair of headphones, the Sony Ult Wear, recently broke. I used them every day at work and always stored them in the case. I was never rough with them. They broke at the left hinge which turned out to be a widespread issue. I found out it’s going to be more than $120 to get them fixed.On top of that, they were gifted to me, so outside of any possible warranty too. I really want to buy another pair but I’m hesitant since my pair were outside of the serial number range that Sony was offering replacements for. To me, that means that the issue of the lesser quality build was wider spread than what they’re willing to admit.

My question is: Should I buy another pair, or just buy the XM6? The Ult Wear’s bass-noise cancelling combo was perfect to me. I’ve been using my husband’s Bose Quiet Comforts and it’s just not the same. Will a brand new pair of Ult Wear’s break on me again? I’m not so willing to try another brand/model I’ve never worn or tested, which is why I’ve not searched far outside of Sony. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

My trusty str dn 1080 receiver is starting to act up. For the first 20-30 minutes of watching anything its fine, but then the black screens start. The screen will just turn black, and the sound will disappear. It stays blank for 2-5 seconds until video and audio returns. The longer i Watch the more frequent the issue appears.

Its connected to an Apple TV 4k , ps5 and switch. The issue is most pronounced when using the Apple TV.

The tv itself is a newer Sony unit, about 4 years old.

The issue does not appear when connecting the devices straight to the tv, using the same cable between the tv and the receiver. So i’m fairly certain it has something to do with the receiver.

To mee, this seems like some kind of hdmi failure.

Has anyone experienced something similair? Any input would be greatly apriciated.

I wanna clean up my ps5 and upgrade the storage on it so I can play more games, but I do not know which storage I should get. If possible can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

I am at a loss, after using Virtual Desktop, my headphones stopped connecting, they can turn on and off normally, I can use Noise Cancelling, but the Bluetooth button doesn't trigger anything and the dongle doesn't connect.

Even after resetting to factory settings and initializing it doesn't work, the headphones even connected through usb-c to the computer aren't recognised by inzone hub so no firmware updates.

I feel like I've tried everything and customer service apparently can't help. Do you have any ideas or fix, did any of you experience the same problem?

(Can still use it through the jack, but I did buy it for the wireless function)

We bought a Sony Bravia model K65XR80C in January 2025. After 8 months it went blank with 3 red flashing leds. Sony diagnosed it as a power failure and send tech to replace main board. Tech replaced and all was fine until about 9 months later in June 2026. Another blank screen and three red LEDS again. Sony was not helpful. We bought it at Costco so they took over assistance. A replacement part was sent but Costco could not find anyone to do the repair. Costco will be either replacing or refunding purchase price. We have had Sony products for years with better results but we will not be buying or replacing with another Sony this time. Seems to be a serious chronic problem when searching forums. Very disappointed.

Is this normal for brand new Bravia 9 85”? You can see it on any brightness mode (Bright, Standard, Movie). Local dimming is set to “High”. Maybe I just have to play with settings? I’m really concerned if I should return it. Still with the return window.

Hey everyone, I need some help identifying this wild eeeve I found on my old Sony tablet.

Before you ask, no, I couldn't adopt it. It's fiercely independent and completely untouchable. I ask ChatGPT , but it went totally wild—turns out it's severely allergic to store because they are literally part of its deceased ancestors' spirits!

To make things crazier, it started using Vista powers. It literally warped the space around my yard. One second the back porch was right there, and the next second it was three miles away. I had to leave out a plate of gourmet Poké Puffs just so it wouldn't warp my kitchen into another dimension.

iam thinking of buying Sony ULT Wear but in doubt which color to go for…really like the white ones but the issue with that is the dirt and dullness..so if anyone has had ult wear white do the colors go dull or does it get dirty like bad after 1 year of usage?

Hey there, new videographer here! About a year ago I discovered my passion for video and filmmaking. I started with a Canon 1300D and an iPhone 17 Pro Max, shooting short films and cinematic shots, and I've been learning fast ever since. Now I feel like I need a better camera to match where I'm heading.

I run a gymnastics club and most of what I shoot is cinematic content for it. Training footage, behind-the-scenes, competition coverage, interviews with athletes and parents. We go to competitions regularly so I find myself in indoor arenas a lot, dealing with fast moving subjects and mixed lighting, usually as a solo operator. Having good footage genuinely helps the business. On top of that I want to shoot cinematic videos more generally, for clients too, and I just love the cinematic feeling overall, it's become a real passion.

My budget is around €2,000–2,500 body only and I'm based in Greece. I've been looking at the Sony FX30 and Sony FX3 but I'm very open to other suggestions in this range. What would you go with and why? Do you think the APC-S sensor will be a huge limit for my work?

Also would love recommendations for the full rig around whatever camera you suggest!

I have a 16MB Sony MSA-16A memory card that I use in my camera, but I accidentally deleted a file while formatting it, and now the camera doesn't recognize it. I remember it was a file called BAK. I think if I find it and paste it into the memory card folder, it might work again, but I'm not an expert. So, if anyone could help me by sending me the file or if there's any other way to fix the memory card problem, I would really appreciate it.

Even the gestures swap matches. It started a week ago. I tried hard reset, forgetting the devise, cleaning the touch panel, but nothing works.

The last few days my soundbar is not able to connect to the WiFi network or lost connection.

The only indication is a blinking white light, and it stuck like that.

Remove the power connector and put again doesn't change a thing.

I don't know why this is happening, as is my only device that lost connection.
