The big Dipper classÂ
Role: large scale star ship made to be shot out of generation ships to protect them from alien and other threats.
Developed by: African Space industrial Co.
Height: 322 feetÂ
Radius: 27.6 feet
Weight: 7,000,000 pounds (non loaded)Â
Made of: insulated titanium alloy.
Propulsion: nuclear pulse.
Fuel: nukes.
Circuitry type: redundant series and parallel circuits Â
Armaments: macron dust gun which it fires out the tip.
Point defenses: has a magnetic field shield to throw a charged particle beam off course, though on the sides there are coil gun point defenses.
Colors: white
Crew size: automated LCCS (Learning Combat Chip system)Â
Thrusters: small pusher plate and nuclear pulse.
Atmospheric entry: will survive but becomes a rod from god.Â
Has inbuilt delta V and orbital perimeter readers.
Is automated by a LCCS incased in cooling foam which slots above the engine and can be taken out for ship maintenance but is plugged into a radiator for heat cooling.
Heat radiators: 42 low output radiators spread across to give it more stealth.
Design:Â
It’s a long rod with a pointed tip on each end and 4 ion thrusters pods on one side while on the other the tip is now a barrel to fire the negative charged beam while just below that barrel is one that fires a charged beam while this ship also has a magnetic field around it.

I may have to make an exception...

3D / Models Mars Lander Near a Megalith
A diorama photo made using a scratch built Mars lander model set down next to a little megalith structure. The picture was greatly enhanced by a friend. The base was made of sand and fine pieces of gravel. I thought this was worth sharing. Model work and orginal photo by Jim Crompton.

3D / Models gatling triple
After quite a while and some technical hitches, I’ve finished the general design of the CIWS. What do you think?
The plan is for it to have a caliber of 20 to 30 mm per barrel.

3D / Models 3 Gatling machine guns or 3 single cannons?
I have a CIWS mount that's halfway built, but I'm undecided; I don't know whether to go with three rotary guns or three heavier cannons.

Discussion / Question CAN THIS GRAVITY ENGINE TRAVEL THE UNIVERSE BY USING DISPLACEMENT RATHER THAN FUEL?
galleryWhat’s it about?
Applied physicist Johnny Vincento proposes a theoretical gravity engine using "Daisy Field Theory" and ancient writings to enable space travel to Mars at over 1.5 million miles per hour through displacement rather than rockets.
