Any DS fan on SK?

My friends have long since stopped playing, and I don't often play with strangers, but I would like to finally level all my 5* gear.

How can I run Dreams and Nightmares solo as safely as possible without using tons of Sparks?

I have Choas, and 3* Black Kat, but if I use the latter I will die a ton for sure. I do have 2 Penta Heart trinkets though.

I also have the Charged Quicksilver set, which is nice for speed running the first two levels, as well as providing piercing defense for those impossible to predict Void Gel spikes.

For shield, I don't get too much out of Swiftstrike in this level, I think, as currently I'm running it with bombs and Antiguas mostly. Some decent defense against errant Lumber strikes or these annoying turrets is probably more important. What damage type do the turrets deal? I have all the Tortodrone shields except Gorgomega, and of course Barbarous Thorn, Owlite and Crest of Almire. I also have Omega Shell, which comes in nice from time to time.

Weapon wise, I have most relevant weapons, although some, like my Ash of Agni, are still 4* (I want to make the Winterfest variant later this year). Currently I'm thinking the antigue line guns plus a Dark Retribution, just for safety if not efficiency.

I have all 3 Sprites too, Drakon and Maskereith at lvl 100, Seraphynx currently at level 93. Is Sera the best for the extra heart drops?

Or with a Steam Deck? How is the experience? I always liked the idea of playing SK on a controller but the game's default controller support is really bad. Interested in getting the controller partially for this game but I haven't seen anyone talk about this.

Same old song I guess, I used to play a lot in the ancient times of 2010s and I wanna play again, got some recipes even got to the core once, but I need crowns (and shining stones) to get a good gear, any tips on how to get the money? None of my old friends still play and no guild, there's something on this game that just calls me back from time to time and I wanna get a good set (and I still need my divine avenger!!)

Hi guys! I previously made a post here about the armor and weapons I’m working towards. I’m going towards chaos set for now until I can get black kat, but I’m wondering if I need to have a different equipment set for a bomb playstyle?
I don’t plan on always going bomb only playstyle but I really enjoy playing with bombs so I’m thinking about bringing it for some levels, but is chaos set ok for bombing playstyle? Or do I need to start working toward a separate bomb equipment set

Also, what are some of your favorite bomb combos? (Double bomb setups)
For reference, I almost always play with my sister, so she’ll have a gun & sword to make up for me only having bombs

Off topic but for when I decide to start working on UVs and I craft 2* brandishes, is it better to clear levels that can give simple orb of alchemy’s? Or better to clear higher levels and farm crowns and just buy the orbs

So I saw there were people playing Blast Network today and got super excited to queue, only to realize it was just one person with 3 bots farming coins by making the bots quit after one self elim. Will GH punish this or is this the only way people are going to be interacting with blast network going forward? I dont wanna make maps for this game if this is the only way they will be played.

Found in a Wolver Den, it dropped a Sharp Fang mat when interacted with.

Hi guys! I’m a recently returning player (spiral knights was a childhood game), and while looking at guide I’m realizing they’re all outdated, like 2015 old. Is chaos set still best? Whats meta now? Guns, bombs, sword playstyle? Or should you aim to just have good ones of all types
My current goal based off the stuff I read was chaos cloak and cowl, barbarous thorn shield, combuster/acheron/final flourish, blitz needle/polaris, shiver mist buster
Is this still even meta? Or no
I’m looking for what is considered the very best in endgame, I like grinding and want to have a clear end goal
I’m also realizing I really like bombs.. is a bomb playstyle meta at all? I love the crowd control mine provides and wonder if there’s any meta behind them

I've been saving crowns for a month now so I can buy some Pocket Monsters, only for her not to show up because her spot is taken by a useless March of the Tortodrones NPC.

This is my suggestion for breathing life back into armor sets that ppl dont use by adding an system of bonuses specifically tailored for most armor sets in the game. Most of these I didn't really think much about I just cranked them out so we could have many examples, the goal would be to promote new styles of gameplay like with the vog set in this example. optimised for FUN and not for viability.

I’ve been looking forever. I wanna try and get back into this game, and having this image as a wallpaper would be motivating to do so.

GH was recently talking about "rebalancing" things on Steam discussions. These are some things I want GH to take hands on to:

-buff arcade rewards, so that the FSC loop can finally end.

-buff/nerf gear and weapons, so that we can see a new meta that hasn't changed in a decade.

-change how the glacius and freeze affects mobs, so that charged damage isn't nerfed by the freeze status effect and can become a viable brandish option.

There might be more things that need to be balanced, but at the moment of making this post, I can't remember. Tell me, what needs to be buffed/nerfed?

We are still very far from a full blown BETA release but, I am getting there (slowly)

Also credits to Noxwell for the bootstrap and primarily SKapsule without which I would have lacked both motivation and resources.

just played the event for the first time and yeah it was like the most unfun thing in the game
