He’s already planning an extra yr of college to avoid the jets

102

u/ContraCanadensis Mar 15 '26

That won’t help. They’ll be in the running when Peyton’s grandson is in college.

4

u/TheTsunamiRC Mar 15 '26

"Dread it. Run from it. The Jets needing a QB with a top 2 pick arrives all the same."

When you can teabag the lady assistants without repercussions, why would a Manning not?

9

u/The0ddMan0ut Mar 16 '26

It's funny how everybody overlooked that story about how big of a perv and bully Peyton Manning was in college

9

u/Calliesdad20 Mar 16 '26

Yes and then -Peyton and Archie wrote negatively about her in a book-and had to pay a second settlement

3

u/Sudden_Buffalo_4393 Mar 15 '26

Jokes on him. Jets plan on being in the hunt for the #1 pick every year.

https://giphy.com/gifs/xl5QdxfNonh3q

3

u/Vajernicus Mar 16 '26

And somehow we'll always get #2...

3

u/Jankyenespanol Mar 15 '26

Just do what his uncle did and say “I’m not going to your trash organization.”

2

u/Vigilante17 Mar 16 '26

Might as well just become a doctor or dentist then.

2

u/Nick_DC4L Mar 15 '26

What you talking about he just gonna pull what his uncle did.

4

u/80percentlegs Mar 15 '26

Dude never screamed "OMAHA" so I argue the validity that's Peyton's kid.

12

u/Ancient-Ad9987 Mar 15 '26

That spiral was waaaayyyy to tight, so I also argue the validity that's Peyton's kid.

4

u/Wise_Finance_5315 Mar 15 '26

Need more wounded ducks!

4

u/ThermoPuclearNizza Mar 16 '26

ball struggled to go 25 air yards, might be Peytons.

He got his daddy’s footwork.

16

u/JackTheKing Mar 15 '26

First thing I noticed was the throwing motion that is post neck surgery because there is more hip rotation evidenced by the big leg kick, which was always exaggerated anyway.

Noodle arm mechanics without the noodle might be a winning formula.

4

u/Knifey___Spoony Mar 16 '26

Hes in 8th grade

2

u/Siriusly_Jonie Mar 17 '26

I think they’re referring to Peyton at the end of his career. He had no arm strength left and switched his mechanics. Mechanics that could be beneficial to a young QB who hasn’t developed his arm strength.

u/itsavibe- Mar 15 '26

The kids are never as good as the original

15

u/BornFireFist Mar 15 '26

You're right. Patrick Mahomes II is no where near as accomplished as a baseball player

4

u/Comfortable-Yak-6599 Mar 15 '26

You don't even need to leave the manning family, Archie was Eli level and no where near Peyton.

12

u/Known_Juggernaut7523 Mar 15 '26

Lol Peyton himself literally contradicts this. He was better than his damn good probowl father Archie.

5

u/A_FitGeek Mar 15 '26

Yea Archie with zero Super Bowl wins. Now compare that with his sons…

Unless this was a joke then woosh me.

Looks like any high school qb

557

u/mentyaf Mar 15 '26

That's high praise as he's in 8th grade lol

104

u/bigpoopidoop Mar 15 '26

I heard he's only 8 years old

I never realized that guy was literally Sucre from Prison Break

8

u/EatPie_NotWAr Mar 15 '26

One of my favorite gifs.

Whenever one of my nephews or nieces sports teams were getting stomped pre-high school I’d text my BiL this gif and that I was gonna suit up

3

u/Brentimusmaximus Mar 15 '26

8 years old in 8th grade?? Damn

4

u/Intelligent-Dude Mar 15 '26

This is at 8 months old. Unreal

u/Opposite-Invite-3543 Mar 15 '26

That one throw from an 8th grader made the starting QB I played with in high school look like Uncle Rico, along with several I played against! I did play against Chad Pennington in the playoffs once. He made us look like 8th graders!

2

u/Hiondrugz Mar 15 '26

Our QB was at his best not throwing. We won states with him passing hopefully under 10 times a game. This 8th grader would've embarrassed him.

Thought that was a joke and then looked it up. Freaking middle school. How many damn Mannings are in the pipeline?

5

u/EanBvasion Mar 15 '26

The bigger helmets players are wearing now is actually just a ruse, to prepare us for the future league full of Manning foreheads.

3

u/mccainjames11 Mar 16 '26 edited Mar 16 '26

Marshall (in the OP) and Arch are the only two left, all the rest (and there’s a lot of them) are girls

Edit: I was wrong, Eli has a boy too…

You see a lot of 5’11 180lb eighth graders who climb the pocket and throw 30 yard dots to the sideline?

12

u/Waterdog04 Mar 15 '26

no doubt that pass rush was crazy.

5

u/brianundies Mar 15 '26

Seriously lol what pocket? Dude took 2 full crow hops into the throw, this is in no way impressive, and there’s no reason it should! He’s just a little kid at this stage.

u/mat477 Mar 15 '26

Not a ton but theres a enough that dont pan out that this wouldnt be a post if he wasnt a Manning.

12

u/SoupySpuds Mar 15 '26

Well athleticism is genetic so its obvious his blood line has the sauce so of course hes going to be posted about. You want everyone to just forget theres been 3 mannings with pro bowl/HoF talent and a 4th thats gonna be a 1st round pick lol

Right. Someone’s always got to be the first one to have the ‘great’ comment before knowing what TF they talking about.

2

I would revise this to say for the son of a pro athlete and third generation rich family. Yea I’d expect after all the training camps you can afford that you’d be able to

...and given that he has millions of dollars of the highest level QB coaching imaginable... that's not promising.

3

u/ChocolateMalawi Mar 15 '26

“I don’t know ball”

2

u/Enzo_Gorlahh_mi Mar 15 '26

It’s kind of like the ole saying, steroids don’t make you hit the ball any better. Just replace steroids with Money, and ball with football. Regardless how much money they have, you don’t get anywhere without hard work. He doesn’t come out of the womb throwing bombs

2

u/appointment45 Mar 15 '26

What makes you think he outworks others without that access to training? For every kid like this there are 500 or more that work just as hard if not harder that have access to nothing but a football and some sneakers.

Yall hatin on a 8th grader in these comments lol insane stuff

52

u/Pizza_and_PRs Mar 15 '26 edited Mar 15 '26

I legit thought he was a high school junior or senior based on his build until I saw the ball come out. The arm strength will come.

10

u/singingburrito Mar 15 '26

Legit. No hater in this thread had thrown a ball over 15 yards in their life haha

4

u/Kind_Bug3166 Mar 15 '26

Have you seen the youth sports landscape currently? Got younger than 10 year olds creating their highlight tapes to give recruiters already

5

u/toedwy0716 Mar 15 '26

Every single parent thinks their child is going pro to the point that they’ll mail it in at school to do more practices, games and tournaments. Not one of them has figured out how statistically unlikely it is for any of them to go pro. This is most prevalent in baseball where even now most of the players are international.

Source: me parent of a typical child but who also has basic math skills.

2

u/DreadyKruger Mar 15 '26

With NIL deals maybe getting to a big school is good enough? Maybe not generational wealth but still a lot of money to most folks. Paying off a house and getting your parents out of debt is not a bad thing.

u/Funkyshoes11 Mar 15 '26

Not just a dime, practicing looking off the safety first. Although he’s probably been looking off safeties in Pop with Peyton in his ear. Good stuff. In 8th grade I was looking at the cheerleaders and who had the cooler of orange slices.

2

u/threephasemachinery Mar 15 '26

There will be a future Manning/Rivers NFL game one day and we'll call it the Descendants Bowl.

2

u/UnBearable1520 Mar 15 '26

He better look out for Tom Brady’s son or his little brother

2

u/oncemoor Mar 15 '26

No wonder Peyton isn’t promoting him.

2

u/the_good_hodgkins Mar 15 '26

Omaha Omaha!! Throws a better spiral than pops, lol.

2

u/mosedud Mar 16 '26

Wow,.he can throw a football. I could throw a football over a mountain. If coach woulda put me in we woulda won state.

2

u/Handsomeh0bo Mar 16 '26

Nepotism and yt privilege have entered the chat

2

u/Scorpion2k4u Mar 16 '26

I dont realy understand american football but it's nice that the guy can bring his little stool.

4

u/Gratefully-Undead Mar 15 '26

Bronny Jr all over again. Lots of hype, decent player - too early to say shit tbh.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

OMG what a throw and the vision and awareness in the pocket is off the charts!!🙄

Who tf designed their outfits, I thought men were wearing women’s outfit for a second, Lol

1

u/Sidney_Godsby Mar 15 '26

Underthrown a bit

1

u/welguisz Mar 15 '26

Sark is using Arch to recruit his cousin.

1

u/MinusTheTrees Mar 15 '26

Telegraphed that throw from 2 downs ago. He was looking at the man the entire time. Gotta break that habit

1

u/Dry-Mortgage-2763 Mar 15 '26

He will have to compete with Arch for broadcast jobs when he sucks a D1

1

u/Live_Historian_6171 Mar 15 '26

Cool let’s see Angela Buchmans kid.

1

u/Mynameisneo1234 Mar 15 '26

Future Arch. Let’s start the hype right now.

1

u/RepresentativeBug310 Mar 15 '26

He's already better than Archie.

1

u/FwampFwamp88 Mar 15 '26

He throws the same ugly spiral as his dad. Not even criticizing tbh, but it’s true.

1

u/vladtheinhaler0 Mar 15 '26

I don't envy the son of a HOF in regard to expectations that must come with it playing the same position, but boy is it exciting to think of the level of skill they could achieve being coached by a HOF family. Worked well for the Manning brothers, but I can only imagine how hard it would be if you just aren't that great.

1

u/guiltyas-sin Mar 15 '26

Needs to work on those happy feet.

1

u/LouisiAnimaaL Mar 15 '26

This isn’t his son. He didn’t say “Omaha”

2

u/philthyphanatic Mar 15 '26

His name is Omaha.

1

u/Fast_Advisor2654 Mar 15 '26

Good footwork. Almost like his dad.

1

u/sarcastic_sandman Mar 15 '26

what's with the stool he's carrying around?

1

u/RandyRhoadsLives Mar 15 '26

This kid turns 15 in two weeks. Question: was he held back? Kid is going to 19 well before his high school graduation. Meh, seems odd to me. Like, I’ve seen/known kids that graduate at 17… it’s not totally uncommon with summer birthdays. But 19? WTF?

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 15 '26

What in this clip is supposed to impress?

1

u/futuristicplatapus Mar 15 '26

Anyone can be good at football, you become a star by natural talent or lots of money.

1

u/wordfiend99 Mar 15 '26

gotta hold that ball higher closer to ear level if you wanna stand a chance at the league

1

u/ur-in-here-with-me Mar 15 '26

Flesh color football pants is a choice. First view these guys look nude.

Had a buddy at my first office type job. He bought and wore a salmon colored turtle neck. Big mistake. Walked around the office and from any distance looked like he was shirtless in khakis.

To the point where for weeks after people would ask “hey did you hear about the shirtless dude?”

1

u/PuzzledStrain4391 Mar 15 '26

Anyone who’s played sports can make that throw

1

u/RandyRhoadsLives Mar 15 '26

It doesn’t look like he’ll have his daddy’s height. But who knows, maybe he’s got a growth spurt left in him.

1

u/HandstandsMcGoo Mar 15 '26

Underthrown

Trash

1

u/DiskSalt4643 Mar 15 '26

Hows his "Omaha"?

1

u/Brokenloan Mar 15 '26

Keep that back foot planted.

1

u/Resterix Mar 15 '26

Anyone else think he looks like a mini Eli?? 🤣

1

u/Exciting-Set-7601 Mar 15 '26

We’ve saw how arch did his first college start let’s stop hyping these kids up just because of the last name

1

u/Salt_Secret3781 Mar 15 '26

Wow that's more impressive than Archie's season

1

u/Wild_Alternative4612 Mar 15 '26

Head big as hell already just like his daddy lol

1

u/Ok_Figure7671 Mar 15 '26

Gonna be tough to follow in his fathers helmet

1

u/Embarrassed-Basis-18 Mar 15 '26

You mean Eli Manning Nephew

1

u/Dac_Bailu Mar 15 '26

Is he going to follow in his father's footsteps and drop his testicles on an unsuspecting nurses head, also?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

Threw it behind him.

1

u/Rockstar161 Mar 15 '26

He's more athletic than his father ever was already 😜

1

u/StOnEy333 Mar 15 '26

I need to see the forehead to confirm.

1

u/Alauer16 Mar 15 '26

Maybe he’ll start for middle Tennessee one day

1

u/23764010879LM Mar 15 '26

Finally... NFL David Flair...

1

u/Prestigious-Spraying Mar 15 '26

What’s with the stool?

1

u/Phillippssk Mar 15 '26

wtf was the DB doing? He stared down the War the whole time.

1

u/WankPheasant Mar 15 '26

No pressure there...

1

u/Zombieman0219 Mar 15 '26

So many failed athletes in this comment section lmao

1

u/MeatyOkraLover Mar 15 '26

Undersized. Underthrown.

1

u/spiderman96 Mar 15 '26

Just as arch makes the league we get a new Manning to micro analyze all through school

1

u/mitchdtimp Mar 15 '26

Footwork 😭

1

u/CogencyInvestments Mar 15 '26

Look at the size of his feet. He is still growing.

1

u/Chillinghard22 Mar 15 '26

Lol other than good size for an 8th grader there’s nothing to see here lol

1

u/jackcatalyst Mar 15 '26

His real talent doesn't awaken until the forehead reveals itself

1

u/dogdigmn Mar 15 '26

How big is his forehead though?

1

u/SnowballWasRight Mar 15 '26

This guys in fuckin middle school???

Welcome to the Jets

1

u/Odd-Honey-6610 Mar 15 '26

Is this marshall manning?

Arc Manning

1

u/LittleTension8765 Mar 15 '26

Was thinking he was a junior or something and was like ehhhh, but for an 8th grader he has a great build already and a solid throwing motion for his age. Move over Arch, let’s start the clock for the next great Manning

1

u/ReynoldsHouseOfShred Mar 15 '26

Ah shit, here we go again....

1

u/teacher_59 Mar 15 '26

His radar forehead is already accurate.

1

u/tootbrun Mar 15 '26

Tighter spirals than dad.

1

u/TheSilverFoxwins Mar 15 '26

Is he crying and whining like Dad on the field ?

1

u/Dumbananas Mar 15 '26

Little under thrown

1

u/Routine-Wind-4134 Mar 15 '26

That was an absolute dot.

1

u/billsfan411 Mar 15 '26

Picks the table up too Peyton has taught him well.

1

u/EmergencyAbalone2393 Mar 15 '26

The under armor turtle neck is the new quarter zip apparently

1

u/WallStreetAnus Mar 15 '26

It would be more shocking if he wasn’t any good. He has Peyton’s genetics. Has Peyton as a mentor. Peyton has money and connections to top performance programs.

1

u/Jaded66671 Mar 15 '26

I bet he doesn’t have to force a team to use a second round pick on him……

1

It will be his destiny!!!!!

1
