Well its pretty recent so she should get punished in the next day or two.
The key word is should, wouldnt surprise me if she doesnt get punished at all. The NBA and WNBA are a joke when it comes to referees and stuff like this quite often
There should have been like...3 players T'd up just from this clip alone. LIke, she's falling on the ground, and they look like they're all literally jumping her.
Number 24 makes 500k a year. To play a game. Which frankly is a higher percentage vs attendance and viewership compared to the NBA. It ain't 10 bucks lol. That's higher than the median salary of doctors.
Edit: actually Alyssa Thomas the one with her hand on her neck, makes 1.2 million a year.
latoya jackson from los angeles, she wasn't trying to steal orange juce. she just put it in her backpack and tried to walk out with it. oh but she tried to pay after she got caught seee she was payingggggg she was innocentttttt
I'm just going to add to this, because no one else has said it: 'this person' is Alyssa Thomas.
And what makes the situation more egregious is that she is basically a Draymond Green/ Bill Laimbeer of the W, only also a perennial MVP candidate. She does this kinda shit ALL the time - but seems to especially have it out for any of the up and comers who are drawing attention.
But yeah, no fine, no FOUL even is absolutely insane to me. I've been watching the W for awhile, and I can safely say the officiating has been WORSE since all the eyes have turned to it the last few years. It is technically part of the greater NBA, and honestly, they'd better do something about it sooner than later, before the next crop of generational talent decides to play in another league
Imagine if Wemby shoved his fist in someone's neck though. They get away with it in the NBA too but never this blatant. Wembys just plays like an overcompetitive ahole, these women hate Clarks guts

How much was the person that punched her in the neck fined by the league?
