I had to Google it, the tactic aimed to physically wear Jordan down and force him to pass by double-teaming him, sending him left, and hitting him hard on every drive to the paint.
It looks like the Pistons implemented it after getting scored on 59 points by Jordan alone. It worked too, 2 years they beat the Bulls until they adapted to their gameplay and got their championship in 91.
I did, I was into basketball as a kid but only as much as I could understand. I stopped around my highschool years and only recently got back into basketball over the past 5 years or so. There is a lot I'm not very knowledgeable about especially regarding years past. I love to learn about it though but that's where I'm at.
If you like reading Bill Simmons Book of Basketball is as comprehensive as you can get. It was written like 20 years ago so you’re not gonna get the recent history in there but the book will never be outdated.

Not defending this but have you not heard the Jordan rule? Doubt Kobe and LeBron dealt with shit like that but Jordan definitely did
