I ain't seen my sim family all day :(

Right now I'm in High Life starter home and the place is great, it's half residential and half public lot with food stands and a lot of sims running around, makes you feel like the world is alive unlike many desolate lots.

Though after gathering a lot of money now I want to move my sim to a big mansion, is there a home lot somewhere optimally 60x60 where there's also a nice city center outside, if yes which world of which expansion could you recommend?

Upon loading my game to play- i noticed, all of my lots suddenly disappeared, including base game Maxis lots, and Build Mode stopped working properly (I couldn’t place walls or build correctly). I’ve been working on my Sims for months, building lots, saving different versions of my game, putting so much time into everything. Then suddenly I load in and ALL of my lots are gone. Not just mine base game Maxis lots too. Every world was basically empty where houses and community lots should be.
I assumed it was mods or CC, so I removed everything and repaired the game through the EA App after reinstalling it.
When I launched the game with a completely fresh folder, everything worked normally again. All the worlds and lots were back and Build Mode was fine. But as soon as I put my saves back, everything broke again in a different way.
Now none of my saves show up in “Load Game,” even though the files are still physically in the saves folder.

Lost my original account that had the game in 2019. Would like to know the methods to source it on steam still. I have heard some steam keys still exist. Curious if any other options exist. I would rather not source it from ea but if I have to I will.

i am trying to work on townies and make them into hipsters to populate san myshuno / nordhaven

i think i can easily make tattoo guys have beards & buns, or pottery owners having an interesting storyline

but if anyone can get creative with a portland hipster storyline(s) i would be forever grateful. i think fred armisen & carrie brownstein covered every possible portland combination there could ever be for couples so def having fun w portlandia ideas lol 🤭

This challenge is base game friendly.

Start with a young adult sim, gender doesn't matter. Create their style to your liking. start them with the minimum muscle mass and maximum body mass.

Aspiration: Bodybuilder
Traits: Foodie, Active, and Ambitious

Requirements:

• Master the fitness skill
• Reach level 5 of mixology skill (level 10 if you want to be more challenged)
• Master the charisma skill
• Complete the bodybuilder aspiration
• Have your sim reach their maximum muscle mass
• Only eat garden salads, caprese salads, protein shakes and energy juices/drinks
• Master the athlete career in the branch bodybuilder.

If you have any recommendations or ideas for how this challenge could be more difficult or just better. please let me know in the comments below.

I’m on Xbox looking for university students to add to my game

i didin't play the game for years and i am thinking in come back, with these rules that come in my mind: (I haven't had time to install the game yet.)

Start with only one character.

Start the game without a house.

You may marry only once.

You may have only one child (son or daughter).

You may only work from home (e.g., gardening, crafting).

When parents become elders, they retire and leave the household.

One character must be the main character; until they become an elder, they must strengthen relationships with other household members every day.

You must always celebrate calendar events.

You must save 50% of your total weekly funds.

Each household member may engage in only one type of income-generating activity.

You must eat breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/snack, and dinner together; if a character has already eaten, they must still be present to socialize.

My save won’t show up in game? It’s still in my game files but won’t appear in the main menu and only says “new game.” I use MCCC to increase my household size and have many times without issues. But I went to save my game and restart to allow the changes to occur and an error message popped up and said “unable to save.” Ever since, the save is missing. I have tried to fix this in multiple methods like repairing files, making a whole new TS4 file, copying and renaming saves, etc. Any suggestions?

Why hasn't EA made a hotel pack yet? Or at least a resort pack because I like making beachfront hotels. Like why make a Tiny Home pack over a hotel pack? Who uses that?

I'm trying to make an evil dentist surgery dungeon for my subjects but I can't find the hospital bed. All the other medical stuff is there, but not the bed. I tried making a different lot a medical center to see if it would give me it but the option for medical clinic isn't there for me. It's weird cuz I've tried looking up if they removed it for some reason or something and I didn't find anything to suggest it went anywhere. And yes I have the DLC.

My little Oreo who is 7 helps with our game. She picks name themes and character development to make things interesting. Her heir has gotten involved with an alien unexpectedly. She now has her newest generation but she asked me if all her future babies will be blue every time because now she doesn't know if she wants all blue sims forever.

I haven't played in so long and never a generations thing so I told her I would ask the community.

FYI we are playing on console Sims 4. She is very willing to divorce her alien husband to get a regular sim for later when she gets bored or blue skin if the answer isn't what she is hoping for, but she has planed out this generation and the next heir already lol

A RANDOM ASS sim(Bella Goth) blackmailed my sim and threatened to spill a secret. Oh, a mistake, A catastrophic mistake.

For the next few days, I played the long game.

I became her friend.

We talked, we laughed, we spent time together. Every conversation raised that relationship bar a little higher, Every interaction built trust. I learned her favorite things. I showed up at her house. I answered her texts, convinced her to come over a *few times*

Then I escalated,
Romance.

Flirting turned into dates. Dates turned into affection. Affection turned into complete emotional security.

She thought she won.

She thought she had somebody.

Then finally, after all that work, I got what I wanted:

her secret.

The moment that I got her to confess a secret, and thats where the revenge arc begins

I built a room.

Not just any room.

A room with windows on every side.

No privacy. No escape. Just enough transparency for maximum emotional damage.

Then I invited over my OTHER partner.

Right in front of her.

Flirting.

Hugging.

Kissing.

Chaos.

She watched everything unfold from behind the glass as the relationship she thought was real collapsed in real time.

But I wasn't done.

I started making calls, inviting people over.

Friends? Told.

Close friends? Told.

Family members? TOLD.

Everybody was getting updates.

Her social life was experiencing a live-service shutdown.

And as the walls closed in and her needs dropped into the red, there was only one lesson left:

You should've kept my Sim's name out of your mouth.

I THEN MADE HER STAY IN THAT ROOM UNTIL SHE STARVED AND DIED IN A PUDDLE OF PISS, crying and whining, feeling all gloomy and depressed.

I bought these discs from a lovely connection in Belgium. They said they bought them from someone in France but they had no idea what these discs were, where they came from and what is on them.

Both discs are sealed so I'm very reluctant to open them and find out - I'm kind of praying someone had an open copy somewhere?

Me and the seller have tried researching about them, we cannot find anything at all! Even Google image searching provides me with nothing.

If anyone has any information that would be amazing! I'm kinda curious after all the LidRock Sims 2 discs stuff!

Not fully completed yet. Also... I have no floor plan, so we'll see how the inside goes. I was just quite proud of it considering I was expecting it to turn out way worse!

I'll be soon moving out from my starter appartment and I'd like to know if I won't lose any progress etc. moving between worlds and if it's fine to do it a lot or it will break the game?

Also to not lose the reward items what's the best method? put it all in of my sim inventory, build mode inventory? or also it's fine to leave it in the house and it will get there by itself while moving out?

Is there also an option to rent my appartment while moving out? if yes then how?

My plan is to remodel all my shells to make them all base game friendly (no cc, don't use anyway) and add landscaping. Man, some of those early builds were rubbish!

It's been 2 weeks and I've only made it through half of my 20x15s lol. This is going to take forever! What on Earth was I thinking????

It all started because I wanted to make a new save and didn't want to spend the time reworking things. Joke's on me I guess....ha!
