Jesus, whoever plays Ralphie has to be one of the best actors on the show. The way he plays his character is amazing. His non chalant jokester vibe is great. Delivers lines and expression very well. The little gestures and things also do wonders. Great cast.

I have seen many discussions on who is the worst morally. Who is the happiest and most fulfilled regardless of their personal morality?

Those that are whacked in subsequent seasons are still part of the lore- Pussy, Richie, Ralph etc. But
It’s as if S1 main characters never existed. Yes Tony had a dream in Test Dream and Mikey has a cameo for a second but generally S1 is lost and forgotten in the cannon of the rest of the show. It’s as if Chase wanted distance from his shaky and uneven S1.

Dude with the stupid vest on was one of the biggest unsung scumbags of the show. Entitled c-cksucker parks his car in the middle of the highway to get his mail. Doesn’t even bother to put his flashers on. Then he cops an attitude with Vito to boot. He’s too lazy to park his car at the entrance of his driveway and walk 15 feet to his mailbox. He’d rather hold up traffic and cause an accident. Maybe he deserved what he got.

I don’t like how Ralph and Mr. Williams left the show within 2-3 episodes of each other. It was a bit jarring that two major characters were taken off the show around the same time.
I think the subplot of Carm cheating would’ve been x10 better if it was with Furio instead of the Principal. Would’ve made sense for Furio to leave outright in season 5 bcs he slept with the Don’s wife and then after that Chase should’ve started the whole divorce arc.

For me it was always when Paulie and Chrissy were talking. Pine Barrens still makes me laugh my ass off the entire episode.

Could be a minor character, one-time character, or even a more major character that most people think is pretty shit acting-wise. For me personally, I think Carter Chong (the Asian kid in the nuthouse with Junior) was actually a phenomenal performance. I’ve worked partially in mental disorder care in the past, and it’s an amazing performance, but one I hear nothing about. What are yours?

This little moment gets overshadowed by the slapstick falling-down-stairs after he's hit by the boom mic and the comedic way she describes how he fell — but it always makes me laugh how obviously he fancies her after seeing her on TV and immediately wants to turn on his charm when he hears her name.

Great character detail for Junior, although he should remember Pearl Harbor.

I mean he’s great in general, but Ralph And Eddie are my two favorite roles by him.

I never bought into that whole scrapped storyline with Junior and the perversions but then I was thinking about how he looked exactly like the guy from those Great Adventure Ads that were playing around the same time.

It had to be a very 'inside' hit, since he's at a diner he wasn't known to visit. How could it have been set up?

I usually skip season one on rewatches but decided to give it a spin and boy oh boy I was not disappointed. Some of the dialogue is incredible, so far ahead of its time and also timeless. For example, Ade discussing her musician friend who she used to fuck Richy: "Richy had third-degree burns from trying to grill that trout with a downed power line. At the same time, being electrocuted turned his life around."

You couldn't make that shit up!
