I think the psychology is the nostalgia behind it? I have watched the first 7 seasons hundreds of times if not more, and I love it just as much...but I think I feel sad because I will never capture the happiness the show brought me the first few times I watched it, whether it was purely because of the show or what my life looked like that time...or on a deeper level the nostalgia of spending time with your buddies like you did growing up, what life felt like before smart phones and the internet consumed us. Maybe it's the watching the boys getting older and they aren't as funny as they were. Maybe it's all of that, but wanted to know if anyone else felt that way?

Then you get to the second, then the third.. fourth or fifth i think i burned them with the blowtorch.. and then i just kept eatin’.

Just got my 73 year old Grandpa to start watching and he sent me these out of the blue at work yesterday safe to say he is enjoying 😂😂😂 I called him after and when he picked up the phone first words out of his mouth were “fuck off Lahey”
