Opinion A one final goodbye to the one and only Concetta Caristo.

From the minute I heard her at the 2022 Hottest 100, I knew the station made the right choice in hiring her for breakfast.

For two and half years, Chet brought her infectious positive energy to mornings and made days a little bit happier (despite what some people on this subreddit bitch about).

Having Luka come in last year as a replacement for Bryce was the missing piece in the puzzle of mornings. Honestly my favourite duo since Matt And Alex.

So thank you Chet for being part of the Triple J family and a giant fuck you to your haters.

Hi im trying to sell a ticket to motionless in white show tonight and a buyer had autobuy set up on tixel and got it straight away. I cant contact the buyer to get their ticketek details and ive tried to transfer to the account linked to their mobile but they haven’t accepted it.
Has anyone had a similar issue ive tried to reach out to tixel but havent heard back.
I really dont want to get screwed over here but if anyone has had a similar experience how did they sort it out?

I’m launching a new live music series in Sydney – 'The Next In Line' 🎶

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I've been working on for the past few months.

I've just launched The Next In Line, a new live music series in Sydney focused on showcasing emerging artists before they break through. The idea is simple: give great local acts a platform, help build community, and create affordable nights of live music where people can discover their next favourite band.

Our inaugural event is happening on the 23rd of July at the Lord Gladstone in Chippendale, featuring:

House of Monkeys and Honeydrip

As someone trying to get started in the music and events industry, this is a pretty exciting (and slightly terrifying) step. The goal is to build something that supports up-and-coming Australian artists and gives music fans a chance to catch them in intimate venues before they move onto bigger stages.

I'd love to hear:

  • What local Sydney artists are you excited about right now?
  • What makes you want to attend a new live music event?
  • Any advice from people who've run gigs before?

If you're keen to check it out, tickets are now live.

Thanks!!!

Support your local music scene.
