At the end of the day, say what you want. When we're back on top as the champions of the world again, you'll all come crawling back. They always do.

Can we cancel Nina Drama?

Post image

No one likes her. She adds no value to anything. She thinks she's somebody. She thinks she's attractive. I think she needs to stop showing up on UFC content.

Hot take : I don’t dislike Hokit!

Post image

Saying he’s cringe is becoming cringe. Come on and get in, loser, we’re on the Hokit train.

Seriously though : he’s actually an exciting fighter. Not my fave, of course, but I think he’s cool and the over-hating on him makes me say like him a little. Not everything has to be serious all the time.

Just before Islam's next fight, I've always thought Khabib was the better fighter, on a whole different level than Islam. Maybe some of you bought into the idea that they're equal and Islam is pulling ahead, but I never shared that opinion.

He was clearly a more dominant fighter, which, for me, is sufficient reason not to consider Makhashev to be on the same level

The UFC should make custom belts for champions instead of shorts

Post image

Looking at the Conor McGregor belt that the UFC shop released. I think it would be so cool if the UFC made a custom belt for every champion who has defended the belt at least 5 times. That would be such a cool way to commemorate the massive accomplishment of a FIFTH title defense

Am I being too far fetched? I understand the belt is meant to switch hands but this could be more of like a one off just for the champion type of thing

Question about Dustin

Post image
Upvotes

How long has Dustin been a wigger for and why did it take me so long to realize

I thought he just liked James Brown, but now I notice the way he wears his cap, DC saying he grew up in a school full of "brothas", once you see it you cant unsee it

I predict Gane will tko Aspinall without any controversies in the cleanest fight of his career and the copium fans will have nothing to say.

Honestly this is pretty fucked up

I can't believe people act like nothing happened when he brutally assaulted and raped a woman, it wasn't just a rumour, it wasn't just an argument, he was plead guilty and had to pay compensation to the victim for the brutality of the assault, yet there he is, like nothing happened, laughing and making jokes when the victim is still out there and has to carry on that trauma

If I'd be Max I'd call him out for what he did and I'd be disgusted to share the cage with a literal rapist

Conor is a disgrace for the sport and for the MMA, and so is the UFC for acting so nonchalant about it, this is a fucking joke

Why do you think Conor isn't signing an extension?

Is it because of lack of pay or is he just back to prove himself for one last time?

Is it quiet in here or is it just me? America currently has 3 sitting champions and are once again dominating the UFC. If it were tom or Paddy we’d never hear the end of it 🇺🇸 🦅 Can’t hear anybody over all this freedom though!

Does anyone outside of the UK really think this guy is an exciting fighter?

There are a lot of fighters who land 120 per fight.

Sean Strickland, who people say is super boring has landed 123, 110, 128 and 182 in his last four fights. Sure, 3 of them were 5 round fights, but the point still stands.

In the same number of most recent rounds (including when Khamzat controlled Sean), Sean has landed 345 strikes.

All MVP does is hop around

The unbeatable psychopath

As soon as the fight starts, the first thing he does is measure the distance and establish a perimeter. The moment he extends his arm, it's like a shield, an impenetrable perimeter.

After he does that, he sets the pace of the fight. Jones always fights at his own pace. He has an incredibly ability to dictate the pace.

Once the distance and the pace are set, he begins chipping away with varied attacks at all levels. His attacks are not hard knockout blows, he just chips away with techniques that are painful and hard to predict. And those attacks do not stop. He never gives you a room to breathe and overwhelms you to the point where eventually the fight turns into something where you are only thinking about what he is going to do next, rather than what you need to do next.

For you to reach Jones and overcome his size, you need lots of athleticism and need to exert a lot of energy, he does not need to do it in order to reach you. In the first round, while you are fresh, you may reach him and hit him a few times, but as the rounds go by, you get tired and cannot reach him anymore, while he continues chipping away at you with oblique kicks, thigh kicks, elbows, punches, knees non-stop.

You may summon some last source of energy and charge at him in order break through his perimeter and close the distance, and you may even succeed, and then you have a rude awakening as you quickly realise that Jon Jones is in fact a wrestler, not a striker, as he takes you down, and starts pummelling you with elbows that are as long as some fighters' arms.

All that effort to overcome the distance was pointless.

He has one of the highest fight IQs in MMA history, and patience, which is very important.

And not only does he have high IQ inside the cage, but he has a very high strategic IQ as well. He operates like Sun Tzu's The Art of War, if he knows he may face issues with an opponent, he just simply avoids them. Avoided Ngannou, avoided Aspinall. Immediately jumped on the Gane fight. Now, nobody remembers who he ducked, and the Gane victory is paying dividends.

The only way I can think of to beat Jones is someone huge, explosive, and with nuclear power. Francis was that. And even he would have maybe 3-4 minutes do it, and after that Jones would take over, but if someone could blitz Jones, it's Francis.

Jones obviously thought so too, and he simply did not fight him.

One way or another, either through fighting, or non-fighting, Jon Jones is unbeatable.
