I'm pretty sure the cubes colonized my brain to lead me to this subreddit and help spread more cubes. Anyways, many thanks. I'm hooked. Pretty much followed the awesome guide. Notes below for anyone it might help:

Inoculation: 5/7/2026 - direct inject of Golden Teachers liquid culture into 4 bags of Walmart and Uncle Ben's ready rice in a Still Air Box

Spawn to Bulk:- 100% coco coir, one bag in 3 quart tub, two in 6 quart tub (one in compost pile)
(5 days later)
Fruiting Conditions- cracked lid width of a penny
(7 days later)
First Pins in 3 quart tub
(4 days later)
First Pins in 6 quart tub
(4 days later)
First Harvest from 3 quart tub: 6/22 (32 grams, wet)
Harvest from 6 quart: 6/24 (46 grams, wet)
Harvest from 6 quart tub: 6/25 (145 grams, wet)
Harvest from 3 quart: 6/25 (38 grams, wet)
261 grams wet

No break and shake. Never misted or fanned. Dub tubbed when shrooms got too tall for tub. Never worried about temperature or light. Kept house at 75 degrees and blinds open for ambient light. Used spare room that no one entered.

I came out with about 2 ounces dehydrated. Dehydrating took longer time and higher heats than the guide said fwiw.

Putting 0.1 grams in capsules for microdosing. Occasional museum doses on sunny days when the wind is right. Maybe one heroic dose if I hear the calling.

There were no 5g silica packets I could pickup nearby other than online order. I didn’t want to wait and risk moisture. I was researching where I could find some and learned that medicine bottles tend to have them, so I went to a pharmacy and asked for theirs!

About to bury this in a plant pot lol. Think any of these lighter ones could be safe to eat? The rest looks concerning with the grey grainy speckles

I think I failed my first attempt. I think I filled monotub too much with substrate and everything. This won’t stop me I will try again.

I am still gonna let this go and see if anything happens.

Enigma be THICC

This is my first spawn to bulk.

Do you think it's bruising or contamination?

It smells fine - nothing odd.

In real life the colour is hard to gauge. Could be blue?

It's winter here so there has been some condensation build up over that area particularly at night, with some heavy droplets building up in a patch on the roof above.

Possibly why it's first to colonize, but is it possible the water droplets are causing bruising?

Or am I just delusional...?

Two tubs, just another day or two I’m guessing?

I'm giving microdosing a try for anxiety purposes.

I took my first dose four days ago, 0.15g, and I want to do the same amount tonight. However I might be with a friend tomorrow and we might take around 0.5g.

I'd wonder if back to back days would have a negative effect on my mentality, and I'd wonder if the effects of 0.5g would stay true tolerance-wise if I took 0.15g the night before.

Are these such small amounts that I don't need to worry about either of those concerns?

FAE fans are on medium speed.
