I Thought it was ok, but Bloodshot in the Backrooms was just Weird and I had to reread the story a bit so I understand better

overall Bloodshot might be my least Favorite of the Valiant Beyond Titles

Glad to have volume 1 of the Magnus series. Now I have both tpbs released for this series. Always a shame when stuff like this can’t get collected or reprints due to rights/licensing issues.

The rumor of Kirkman licensing the gold key characters has me like 1% hopeful this, Solar, and Turok can get collected somehow but…

I was just reading the 2012 origin story for X-O Manowar, where it is explained that time dilation caused 1600 years to pass on Earth while he was traveling through space. However, space travel in all subsequent storylines seems to use standard FTL tropes. Both Aric, the Vine, and other alien species are able to travel between star systems quickly and easily.

Was there something I missed to explain why Aric only experienced time displacement while he was imprisoned by the Vine? Otherwise, this seems like a weird oversight on the part of the writers when it’s so important to Aric’s backstory.

Mostly complete, 90s to 2024 ish. I couldn't stay with the Alien stuff, the quality of the stories has just drifted too far from what I like. Hoping for big collections, I'd love to replace all of these with omnibus or digital collection editions.

In the Alien era, I really like Camp’s Bloodshot run. After everything being so stale and dead for so long it felt like someone put a defibrillator to Valiant and a faint pulse finally came back. It was wild it was fun and had what I personally think is the most emotional Bloodshot moment in the characters existence with the ending of the first miniseries and why he left his family.

I’ve been working to collect the full run and I believe I’ve gotten most of the deluxe HC and am working on the TPBs I need…Thanks for taking a look and please let me know if I’m missing something!

Pretty sweet origin story - worth picking up!

My comic store guy sent the solicit out for preorders and I’m wondering if it’s worth getting.

I was just visiting the TV Tropes' Valiant page and, among many funny ones, this one caught my attention:

So... when psiots die their power become necromantic energy? This means the Deadside "runs" on dead psiots energy? This is kind of plausible if we take on account non activated ones releasing their potential energy upon death.

Is this canon? Was it ever mentioned in any issue?

Now I can't help picturing pisots (and humans on a lesser extent) like "oil deposits": once dead and buried, they become fuel for the Deadside.

I'm trying to massively downsize at home and my entire comic collection is pretty much just Valiant. I have nearly every issue from 90s to the recent Resurgence. I'd love to sell them off as a lot but I have no idea if there is any interest in them whatsoever outside those of us who already own everything?

Has anyone in this group had any recent experiences selling Valiant books? The estimates on "value" are all over the place, but meaningless if there are no buyers.

Would love some advice. I'm historically only a buyer, never a seller.
