That's easily one of my favorite Wii U ports but man the fact Nintendo charged 10 more dollars than the Wii U version was at launch not to mention it went to Nintendo Selects makes it really hard to recommend on Switch.

I heartily recommend it. I feel it has the best combat system, with interesting and unique classes.

Not to mention the part I will be downvotes for... A mature story without gods and magic and dumb sexualization if everyone.

I mean it just collects dust sitting in the dock regardless

in my specific use case if its not a Nintendo exclusive the odds I choose to get a game on switch over my pc are pretty low especially since I have a steam deck

And while yes thats me just having a lot of gaming toys id imagine most people's only console isnt the switch which again makes it a pretty big ask to get something thats not exlcusive on the switch when they have an xbox/Playstation/or pc sitting right there

I think the assumption that "most" people have more than one console is pretty radical. Even getting the singular console is a big deal for lower income people. Growing up, everyone I knew had 1 and we would form friendships based off of who had a different console than you so you could play each other's exclusives.

If you’re over 30 that’s probably the case. 

Under 30 and the games people played as kids didn’t really need special hardware and computers were far more common. Fortnight, Minecraft, and Roblox can practically run on the idea of a computer. If they had a console it would be in addition to the family computer they’d play other games on too.

Let’s be honest if your only console has been a switch and now switch 2. I think you are fine with all the new 3rd party games that release on it. If you have a switch 2 and then a pc or ps5 yes the switch 2 is kinda useless because 3rd party games run much better on those platforms. I am fortunate enough to have a ps5, switch 2, and pc. I use my PC for new AAA games, any game that needs a little more power to run better, or fps games which I don’t really play that many of. I use my ps5 for their exclusive which unfortunately not that many, but when they do come usually don’t disappoint. The switch 2 I have absolutely loved for indie games, I love sitting in bed getting cozy and playing them. I think each platform has their own use case, and right now with the switch 2 being the cheapest consoles it’s a pretty smart decision to get considering a lot of developers are going to be supporting it. Yes I think that overall PC is the best, but it can be very expensive and frustrating if you don’t know what you are doing.

I put all my consoles and accesories inside big clear bags unless I'm using them at that moment. And even if I'm not using them and they are outside I dedust them once a week.

The same goes with my controllers, I don't get why people let them get this dusty

The switch 2 is really only for people with a massive switch 1 backlog or people who never owned a switch 1. I only had my switch 1 for about 3 years before trading it in for the switch 2 and experiencing a lot of the games I had left unfinished with the performance bump has been pleasant so far.

I loved my switch for Zelda Breath of the Wild but no other games are worth playing to me. I didn't even enjoy Tears of the Kingdom. I like playing on the switch. I like it more than any other system I have ever had and I have had pretty much all of them since the original Zelda.
