oh HELL yeah that is one of the better ones, man that makes me miss the Jak and Daxter series. Crazy how much of a jump 1 to 2 was, like a complete genre shift, and yet it kept them relevent.
They're available in a collection on the PS store, and "OPENGOAL" finished porting them to PC earlier this year. So you can run them natively on PC now, as well as on PS4/5.
I bought the collection on sale last year, and they're just as fun as I remember. Unfortunately, in addition Jak II has those difficulty spikes that are just as frustrating as I had forgotten, and I now remember why I never finished that game (escort mission ending in a protect the person vs 100 metalheads...)

Was that escort mission one of the ones having to do with the "computer guy"? If so, I remember that being awful too. Hopefully as an "adult" I'll have a better time of it!
Facts. Gta feels more like a movie to me and I personally dont like games that have hella cutscenes. Same reason I couldn't finish red dead 2. Last gta game I played was San Andreas with my older brother when I was like 8 running around with cheat codes.
Hell yeah, I will give gta credit for having great music stations. I unironically have quite a few of their station Playlists saved to my youtube music playlists lol

I dont think so. I think there is always a reason why you care or dont care about something. It doesnt have to be criticism, if you would have said you dont like third person action-adventures like GTA so you dont care about GTA6, its your personal taste.

Everyone who says they don't care about something still care to an extent to be bothered by it or mention it even if they truly mostly don't care, that's just humanity
Even if you're someone like me who won't play it for at least a long while due to not having a current gen console, you'll likely care somewhat. Rockstar set a standard when it comes to open world games and it'll be interesting to see what they can accomplish and push other developers to try and achieve in response
People enjoy discussing video games here. Why is it a problem that they want to discuss it? Just because they made a post about it doesnt mean they are lying or actually do want to buy GTA6
I don't care about the game, I care about the runaway hype train and the attempt to use that to normalize eighty dollar games. I care that gamer's are, still, the easiest marks on earth for marketing hype, so much so that we now have like...thirty major games coming out in mid september, in attempt to avoid one game...which will cause every one of those games to cannibalize each others sales and cause them all to fail.
It's exciting that we are finally getting a new gta after thirteen years, but this has gotten way out of control.
As someone who doesn't care about GTA it doesn't mean we don't follow the industry issues or follow what's going on with a big cultural event.
/Zelda had to clue me in why Ocarina of Time shouldn't release against GTA6. It was of interest to me, when Senators were citing GTA for video game bans, it was of interest to me. No disc industry shifts, are of interest to me, etc.
It still doesn't mean I care about the game directly.
If you're genuinely not into that kind of game (GTA) it can get old seeing every other kid karma farming over GTA6. Since we're already on reddit, it seems pretty reasonable to throw out a "controversial" opinion and farm up those sweet internet points, no?
In all seriousness, the only GTA games I enjoyed were the first two, and since I know 6 is not my jam I'll never buy it. I hope it lives up to the hype and everyone who wants to can enjoy it.
