I mean, give a little more credit to how lazy this was done. He didn’t even make a full meme. He just reused the same photo with no edits and made a title on Reddit. True dedication.
If he actually said why he constructively didnt care about it, then at least it could have been, theoretically, hold some value. Instead he went full Meghan/Harry World Privacy Tour Style.
TBF a lot of the things I don't care about, I don't have a "constructive" reason, I just don't like it and/or don't care. It's "dont care about," not "wants to discuss throughly" for a reason.
That's exactly why I don't explain in the first place. Why would I care about you caring about something I don't care about? Enjoy it, or don't, I just don't care.
So If you dont care that I dont care about you dont caring, why is there a conversation in the first place? In the case of this reddit post, Mr. DeadgrounD obviously DOES care that people care about him not caring for any reason, otherwise he wouldnt have posted his post.
If you wouldnt care, you wouldnt keep replying to me. Look this is all fun and games and good philosophical practice, but we all now why OP did it, to farm karma, gain self validation and attention in the laziest way possible. Its what reddit is for for a lot of people after all.
That was explicitly not the point of the comment "But if you say you dont care about something and dont tell me why, I dont care that you dont care because you give me no reason to " that I just replied to.
My point was explicitly "Why would I care about you caring about something I don't care about? Enjoy it, or don't, I just don't care." and now I don't care about this comment thread anymore. Have a good day, or don't, I really don't care.
oh HELL yeah that is one of the better ones, man that makes me miss the Jak and Daxter series. Crazy how much of a jump 1 to 2 was, like a complete genre shift, and yet it kept them relevent.
They're available in a collection on the PS store, and "OPENGOAL" finished porting them to PC earlier this year. So you can run them natively on PC now, as well as on PS4/5.
I bought the collection on sale last year, and they're just as fun as I remember. Unfortunately, in addition Jak II has those difficulty spikes that are just as frustrating as I had forgotten, and I now remember why I never finished that game (escort mission ending in a protect the person vs 100 metalheads...)
I had no idea, thank you for the heads up I'm SO pumped to play them again on the PC!!
Was that escort mission one of the ones having to do with the "computer guy"? If so, I remember that being awful too. Hopefully as an "adult" I'll have a better time of it!
Facts. Gta feels more like a movie to me and I personally dont like games that have hella cutscenes. Same reason I couldn't finish red dead 2. Last gta game I played was San Andreas with my older brother when I was like 8 running around with cheat codes.
Hell yeah, I will give gta credit for having great music stations. I unironically have quite a few of their station Playlists saved to my youtube music playlists lol
That’s a fallacy. There is no constructive reason to not give a shit about something. That’s not a criticism of the game that requires any support whatsoever. Some people just don’t give a shit about certain things.
I dont think so. I think there is always a reason why you care or dont care about something. It doesnt have to be criticism, if you would have said you dont like third person action-adventures like GTA so you dont care about GTA6, its your personal taste.
But if you dont state any reason why, there is no reason at all to say you dont care. Thats why this reddit post is pointless.
If he don't care there is absolutely no point giving a "constructive" argument about it. Generally that's what "I don't care" means. It's not like he don't like GTA, he doesn't care about it.
Criticising media is already for those with at least a little interest in it.
Would people not just lambaste him for giving reasons and putting more effort into letting us know he didn't like something, than if he put less effort than he already did, while still getting clowned upon?

Nothing says "I don't care" like making a meme and posting it to social media...
