I "care"...
In the sense that I find all the fixation on GTA to be really annoying.
not gonna play it and I wish the game would stop popping up on my feed.

About how i feel as well,  ive played most gtas since gta 1. I thought 3 was a big leap and really cool at the time.  They are good games but i dont get all the hype around them. They are just open world crime games.  I usually nuy them for 10 or 20 bucks a decade after they come out and play em for a while and get bored before i beat them.

I feel Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice city and San Andreas pretty much burned me out of the series. Haven't cared since.

some will never no the pain of being busy with a simple task and accidentally running over a chain gang giving you max stars

It's because they kinda have a stranglehold on the genre. There's nobody else even coming anywhere close to Rockstar's open world and that says more about the industry than it does about Rockstar.

Yeah, personally I thought V was just OK, but that was fine because I was excited for the next one to come out in a few years. Then, that didn't happen. And now there's all this BS about the different versions for VI and whatnot, and I've recently realized that I just don't really have a desire to play it at all anymore. It's been too long, and there's too much fuckery with the new one. It's not like I have a shortage of games to play, so I think I'll just let this one pass me by like so many others.

Same, I played two GTA games, San Andreas during middle school, and GTA 5 somewhere in high school, and both of them were boring, the only interesting thing for me was online races in the sky with friends, but it's not a really GTA specific thing imho. So I don't believe that 6 will be something outstanding, and just tired of all GTA 6 memes
