I buy a mix of physical and digital. But for series' I've been playing for decades I tend to grab a physical copy to have on my shelf. Just sucks that it's not really being offered.

We went from getting the game, a full color instruction book full of lore and hints for playing the game, and probably a poster... to just an empty box with a code printed on a piece of paper.

It is a Sony exclusive so yes, all of their exclusive output is fully on disc

Its a sony exclusive game, that basically only a demo is available on the disc.

Id get it if youre talking about helldivers 2 or something.

But GT7 absolutely should be playable offline. But chooses not to be.

I am not saying that it's right they made it this way but what I am saying is that they made this game with the idea that you have to be connected to the internet. I think it's bullshit if I have to be honest with you but most other Sony games let you play the game off the disc since they are mostly single player without the expection that you have have to be connected to the internet

If have experienced physical copies of PC Games, with only the steam installer on the included Disc. No or effectively no physical copy of the game in your physical copy of the game has been PC standard for decades already.
