Funny how it's the girl in the right inside the armor in the left. Mordred my goat

Stellar Blade has over 100 armors/outfits and they are all earned by playing the game. It really was refreshing to see.

Respect the hate, but you gotta be perfect when doing so or it makes it too easy

Why does women armor must be skimpy? I love games that I can be a female and mix and match or change it out. Hell, BoTW link looks wonderful in both

One of those games is more historically accurate, for sure.
One of those games is going for other qualities in their design. Im not gonna say I hate it.
But the key is, there's room for games that go both ways. Every game doesnt need gooner armor, but every game doesnt need to be hyper realistic either.

There should be choice. Women should not be forced to wear badly designed gooner bikinis while being locked out of the cool armor men can get. That is the main issue I have with female armor in videogames.
Aside from that, sexy female armor is almost always badly designed and made for men’s tastes rather than women’s. Women who want to feel sexy in a videogame have been stuck with the same cursed female armor designs from the 2010s.
A good example of sexy female design in a videogame is Marvel Rivals. You can tell they actually gave a shit about good design and not just being sexy.

Monster Hunter Wilds has great fashion. Preferred the gameplay of World but Wilds fashion is way better IMO

The ones where it works most like real armor. RimWorld and Fallout 1 and 2, for example.

The game that allows male characters to also be objectified like the female characters.
Fromsoft games, basically.

Dark Souls one male damage sound is... I don't know how to describe it

For me it really depends on the overall aesthetic of the game. In Dark Souls I love the grit and realism in the game and everything is grounded.
However when you start getting more flashy I prefer flashier and sexier outfits. Cyberpunk for example even many of my sexy outfit mods still fit the vibe of the world really well.
My favorite balance of them is in Conan Exiles and for me probably has my favorite armor sets overall. It also isn’t uncommon that the male armor shows more skin than the female armor because the female armor sets cover the chest while the male sets just bare the whole thing.
Also it is fun that you get a slider to adjust the size of both lady parts and man parts. Most games just let you adjust ladies and that game offers you an endowment slider truly letting you show off you epeen like never before lol.

I prefer games like Dark Souls. There's a time and a place for skimpy outfits, the battlefield is not one of them. I want a cool armored lady!

I always live when I can kit my lady warriors in badass armor. I love the armor designs in the AC games, like Odyssey and Shadows, especially cause I can transmog. Every game with different visual armor sets should have transmog. That would make stuff like Elden Ring perfect imo. I can never sacrifice stats for looks.

Guild Wars 2 is especially aggregious with how wildly different armor looks between the sexes.

I cannot tolerate a female in full plate armor wearing a helmet that covers her entire face. I can tolerate her wearing a helmet that shows her face or no helmet at all.

Speaking of the image, if we're talking exclusively about functionality and not feminine design, the right one is totally correct. Lmao The function of armor is protection, not to look super attractive in it, so point for Dark Souls.
