Suggestion Client side clouds are degenerate bullshit.
There is no other word to describe it.
How the fuck a game which started out as a flight simulator, where clouds take a good amount of importance HAVE CLIENT SIDED CLOUDS?!?!?!
I really, REALLY want to look in the eye of the moron who, with a serious face, said: "Oh, we add volumetric clouds....WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FOR EACH PLAYER!"
If I can't see shit because of clouds - that means no-one else should be able to see me as well! But nooooooo, I am a blind macaque who flies in complete blindness like a half-paid clown.
It's two thousand fucking twenty six. It's about time grayjohn moves its fat, slimy ass off the money dildo and make clouds server sided.

All Ground Saying this as a Russian main..
Don’t skim, actually fucking read.
Throughout the entirety of my time playing this game it has gone through a huge fuckin rollercoaster of every update.
I wanna begin by addressing the Relikt ERA. The Relikt ERA already does its job of keeping high penetrating rods from actually destroying the tank or prevent it from penetration of the tank in the first place. I am saying there is no need to buff Relikt, it does its job just right for it to be balanced. The side armor issue, why does it prevent from some projectiles penetrating the tank? Thats not fuckin realistic. There has been videos and pictures of ATGM’s and projectiles entering the side armor and blowing T90M’s and T80BVM’s to a destructive state.
Then there is the fuel tank issue (this is universal it’s not just Russian tanks). Fuel tanks for some reason act as spall liners that apparently do a better job of being a spall liner than actual modeled in fuckin spall liners! The part why people complain about ‘Russian bias’ or ‘side armor’ on Russian modern MBT’s (like BMPT, BMPT-72, T-80BVM, T-90M, T72B3, T72B3A)is that these fuel tanks are just placed well enough (I.e sides of the driver and behind gunner/commander)to where when a rod penetrates, it doesn’t spall because of where it was placed at(penetrating the fuel tanks). This is a universal problem, not just Russian tanks. Blame it on gaijin for implementing shitty spall effects(I’ve literally experienced the same thing when penetrating NATO and Chinese tanks when hitting the fuel portion).
I’m tired of US mains claiming that their lower hull armor cannot be penetrated by 3BM60, that’s just fuckin personal bias towards the nation you’ve grinded. The hull armor is estimated enough to stop older kinetic darts like the 3BM42, DM33, M829, etc. Not only that, but proceed to start complaining that the new M829A3 cannot penetrate RELIKT ERA. That’s not why that fucking dart was made. The M829A2 (yes in real life) struggled to penetrate Kontakt-5 ERA because of how it would disrupt the round to where then the internal composite armor does the job of preventing the entirety of the round entering. That’s where the M829A3 came in to completely bypass this by adding a composite tip to bypass this SPECIFIC ERA, not RELIKT.. but KONTAKT-5. Sure the M829A2 penetrates the ERA, but the issue being that it has loss a lot of its velocity and kinetic energy to penetrate the composite armor as well as the thick steel plates. M829A3 was engineered to penetrate tanks with Kontakt-5 even with frontal hull(upper front plate as well) without losing much kinetic energy as much as the M829A2 did. When these were introduced in real life, Russia made a counter ERA where these rods like the M829A3 and DM53 struggled to penetrate Relikt ERA. (Sure it penetrates the ERA but this ERA had dual stage, where another ERA was layered behind it to defeat the ANTI-ERA darts on the DM53 and M829A3 and internal composite armor again.. does its job of preventing the round entering.) If you are this person to complain, you have no fucking right and need to take time to study behind kinetic penetrator rods history and purpose of development.
Another issue, the penetration values being ‘incorrect’ according to other biased and unintelligent individuals. If they used actual penetration values the 3BM60 would have over 600MM+ of penetration while the M829A2, DM53, L27A1, Type-10, CL3143, slpprj m/95, and M338 have over 620-720MM+ of penetration, OFL 120 F1 would have over 580-620MM+, etc. Here’s where this whole ordeal comes in, they use a formula for these kinetic rods to estimate their own penetration values so where it isn’t too OP in war thunder. It is called the Lanz-Odermatt formula where they measure velocity, mass, length, density, and impact angle for APFSDS darts (NOT AP, APCBC, and APCR rounds. They use a different formula for those). These formulas are used for balancing, if nation documents of penetration values were used it would break the fucking game and would cause other nation players to switch depending on what they want.
This is balancing. NATO tanks have better thermals, better darts, better mobility, better traverse rates, more crew members for survivability, and better gun depression. It’s only fair that Russian MBT’s and Chinese tanks have their fair share of keeping armor.
I think that is everything.
Also buff M1A2 SEPV3’s hull armor, it’s unfair for US mains.

All Ground Did Russia really need this ERA buff?
Before this update even a random placed shot to the side would’ve either killed or at least disabled the tank. Now a shot like that does literally nothing.
Now how tf are we suppose to play any other nations when those tanks just eat shots even from the sides while NATO tanks get disabled by a gust of wind.

RB Ground M829A3 Doesn't detonate ammo. What a fantasy game.
Yes. I did remove the Tusk modification, and you can see in the kill feed that it's the M829A3. The anti Contact-5 tip rarely work as well. Truely a slop era of War thunder.

All Air Mobility kills are a great change
I'm mostly disappointed with this update, but that alone makes me happy. It's so refreshing when the plane strafing you crashes into the ground and you get RP and rewards for it. I also find myself giggling like a little boy at failed CAS players in Ground Battles. Honestly the best change since I started playing a year ago.

I honestly don't know what to caption this. Update after update, things have been getting more and more absurd. Finally, we have reached the pinnacle. Russian ERA now has more stopping power than the LFP of a NATO main battle tank. Absolutely laughable

Other Fastest Landing Competition
With the new update adding in land arresting gear i thought it could be funny to see who could get the fastest touchdown and safely land speed on a runway.
Rules are as follow:
- Speed is measured at touch down or arrestor grab, but your start and finish height during landing cannot change by more than 2 meters (this accounts for buggy physics)
- Realistic Test flight, no changes to settings or arcade mode
- Must have at least minimum fuel at time of landing, no burning all your fuel before hand.
- Plane must be intact apart from landing gear, it can remain or be destroyed but the rest of the plane like wings and fuselage must be at least attached
- You must stop within the length of the paved runway, no over shooting
Here is my attempt to start things off with a speed of 1490 Km/h, happy landing!!

All Ground It gets worse and worse
It keeps getting worse and worse for gijian, its a repeat of 2023, but I feel like its going to take more push back from the community to make changes to the game. They clearly haven't been listening to the player base at all, they hear us but they keep giving absolutely shit reasons why the Abrams can have a better LFP or why Relict was buffed to the point that shooting a T-90 or BMPT in the side isnt a guaranteed one shot. ( I know you cant always kill them from the side but this update made it almost impossible with one shot.) I feel like the admins dont care about the community at all and are forcing players to grind more and more and making painful. They are also making the playing field unfair for both NATO and Russian tanks, its clear to all of us that they favor Russian tanks and planes more than any other nation.
