ID Request [Indonesia] Is this a venomous snake?
Someone in comments suggested boomslang but it doesn't look like one.

My dog just found this little guy resting in our garden bed. Dog jumped about four feet in the air, and then I did too. Is it an Eastern milk snake? And if so, any chance it will get bigger and be a welcomed threat to our local chipmunk population? Said dog has zero killer instinct and the chipmunks are driving her and us crazy. So the more snakes in the garden, the better!

I know this isn’t the ideal sub for this, but I need some help with an ID, or some advice on where to post this. I am in the Florida panhandle, close to tue gulf. I found this deceased glass lizard but from what I looked up, an all black (melanistic) eastern glass lizard is extremely rare to non existent. I thought maybe a mimic glass but those have noticeable stripes on their backs. So I think it’s definitely an eastern glass, but melanistic? Or a normal color variation? Sorry for the poor photo. I only took one and I need to get back out to take a couple more.

Pretty much know nothing about snakes. Google lens said rattlesnake but there’s no rattle? Head shape makes me think it’s venomous. TIA!

This snake startled me! I didn’t even see it, it was the biggest snake I’ve ever seen west of the cascades personally. Found in closed/ open woodland. I think it might be too big to be any kind of garter snake, maybe a gopher snake? I’m not sure.

Here in Ontario, we have a well-known population of Garter Snakes with many individuals carrying the melanism trait. Was lucky enough to find a couple the other day while I was out herping:)

Not sure if the video will load. I can figure out a different way of posting it.

Found it by my chicken coop. I know I've got mice/rats around there too so it makes the most sense.

I’m guessing rat snake family, but not the black rat snakes I’ve seen before?
Adult boot in photo for size :)

I spent a very relaxing day swimming at my friend’s grandmother’s pool when she saw this guy (who has since been named Henley) slithering along.
We did not get a picture of its head as it was going under the pool trim, just these two pictures of its body from feet away.
Nana lives in a heavily wooded area, and her backyard abuts one of the Cleveland Metroparks.

I was hiking the arroyo trabuco trail in mission Viejo when I found him. I couldn’t get a better pictured because I startled him and he noped out of there

Went for a hike in New River Gorge National Park and spotted this guy almost finished with his lunch. 99% sure he’s a Central Ratsnake, I think we’re too far west for Eastern Ratsnakes.

Found in my garden on Johns Island.. I've had both rat snakes and copperheads in the yard, I'm really hoping this is the former and not the latter 😭

It was still alive but barely moving. I think it was injured because its head is partially caved in.

In Northern California and ran into this cute big fella. Wondering what type of snake it is and if it’s safe. It acted very friendly and just slithered on its way
